The price is good. The location is good. But there is limited amount of charging point in the room : only like 4-5 in a room of 16 ppl.

För oss var boendet perfekt - precis invid tåget, enkla rum och tillgång till en stor pool att svalka sig i!

Facility was nice and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast is not included but the price was fair.

El personal fue siempre muy amable, el hotel esta bien ubicado y puedes ir a pie a la estación y a varios sitios sin mayor problema. Realmente me gustó mucho y sin duda alguna volvería a visitarlos. No le doy 5 estrellas únicamente porque no habian habitaciones con baño privado

This is a great place if you’re looking for a place close to the train station, which was my main reason I picked the hostel. It takes a bit of time to get to the water side but not so bad to navigate. The staff that helped me upon check in was very nice and extremely helpful. The place is on the older side as far as facilities are concerned but still efficient enough. The entire property gives off an old villa vibes. Could use a couple more showers and toilets to share downstairs.

Was soll ich sagen... Ein A4-Blatt mit vier Seiten der Hotel- & Hostel-Regelungen Montarina: präzise und detailliert, aber das Beste kommt später... Da steht unter anderem: Nachtruhe: von 22:00 bis 7:00 Uhr! Aber oh je: in 11 Nächten KEIN KOMMENTAR!!! Ja, man kann sich entspannen, die Luganer Luft bringt Entspannung: aber an Schlaf kommt überhaupt nichts!!! Ich habe 11 schlaflose Nächte verbracht!!! Ich habe Geld gespart, ich habe gearbeitet, ich konnte Essen aufwärmen, aber ich konnte überhaupt nicht schlafen! Absolut nichts!!! Und das ist Giuseppe aus Palermo und seinem ständig neu formierenden Team von Ausreißern zu verdanken, die versuchen, arme Seelen im Austausch für eine Phantomfreundschaft, ihre Habseligkeiten, anzuwerben. Und die ganze Nacht lang laufen sie im Zimmer auf und ab, schlurfen mit den Füßen, als wären sie die einzigen dort, und selbst wenn sie nicht mehr im Zimmer wohnen, bleiben sie immer noch dort. Ganz zu schweigen vom Schlüssel, um nach 23:00 Uhr hineinzukommen, den Giuseppe nicht hat und der anordnet, die Tür unverschlossen zu lassen!!!! Video folgt auf „VETRINA ITALIANA“!!!!

Virkelig hyggeligt hotel i smukke Lugano. Vi havde en fantastisk udsigt fra værelset, personalet var venligt og faciliteterne var i top. Kæmpe anbefaling herfra!

This place was a true gem, gorgeous grounds and a stunning historical building with 12 foot ceilings and huge windows. The beds were comfortable and the bath very clean, we loved the tropical flowers and plants and enjoyed a fantastic Italian meal at the restaurant. The decor was tasteful and inviting. Everyone was very nice and helpful, we wish we could have stayed longer to explore Lugano but we had a train to catch in the morning.

Die Badezimmer waren gemischt für Männer und Frauen und die Dusche ist klein und es gibt keinen Platz, um ihre Kleidung aufzuhängen, ohne nass zu werden. Aber insgesamt ist es ein toller Ort und ich würde wiederkommen!

The staff are very kind, the room was cozy. 5min walk from the station.
