Ich war zwar nur für eine Nacht da, aber wow ich bin begeistert. Freundlich, zuvorkommend und einfach top. Saubere Zimmer, bequeme Betten und hervorragendes Essen. Es lohnt sich, dieses Hotel zu besuchen.

Wonderful location!

Nice hotel, in the middle of the town. The last night it was some kind of festival and they had a concert/dj playing until 02 in the morning! No warning or heads up about that. I could not sleep until the party was over. It was so loud, just 500meters away from our bedroom window!!

This property was not as pictured, noisy, and the staff was not very friendly or accommodating. Not to mention expensive for what you are getting.

Wonderful place, location, staff and dining

Hotel is centrally located and has parking right in front of the hotel for free for an hour or there is a parking lot a block away that costs about 4 CHF for a day using the EasyPark app which for some reason was about half the cost of paying at the machine.

Es war alles tip top nur der Schalter der Nachttischlampe sollte besser markiert werden. Habe ihn nur per Zufall gefunden…

Alles bestens ausser kein Parkplatz vorhanden.

The Appenzell area is a gorgeous rural area with phenomenal scenery. The hotel and town are traditional Swiss architecture with a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the rooms comfortable. This was our favorite area in Switzerland 🇨🇭.

Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, das Zimmer sehr sauber und ruhig. Badezimmer ehler klein aber funktional. Das Frühstück einfach genial und das Essen im eigenen Restaurant ebenfalls sehr fein. Der Fernseher (in unserem Zimmer) ist seitlich vom Bett ungünstig platziert. Preis insgesamt eher hoch.
