Excellent location, small and basic. The best thing about this place is the staff.

I had the balcony room reserved for one night but they tried to give me a vastly inferior, coffin room instead and when I called them on it, they said the room I reserved wasn't available and they would give me a minor discount on the cheap room which was still way too high a price for it. They probably had found somebody who wanted my room for more than one night and figured I would take a cheap , being left with no other option. I instead went to the Roca Hostel nearby and that was a much better option at a much lower price.

I had never stayed in a hostel before and wanted to make a go of it. I am glad I did. Overall, I had a wonderful stay here. This is a family-owned operation, run by genuine, down-to-earth people-the kind of people you want to give your money to. It is located well within walking/cycling distance to all of the local bars. The accommodations were more than adequate for my needs. I would have no problem staying here again.

De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. Ze behandelen je als familie. Onze kamer had ook een keuken. De ramen kunnen alleen niet dicht en je hoort s nachts muziek. Ook hadden we geen WiFi in de kamer. We konden fietsen huren wat erg handig is.

Free coffee and drinking water, unfortunately we had mosquitos in the room and it was also hot. The ceiling fan did't help that much.

I knocked on the reception door for 30 mins then left.

es un hotel que esta en mi opinion en una localizacion perfecta, porque esta a unos 200ms del centro de puerto viejo, lo que hace que puedas ir andando pero sin tener que sufrir las aglomeraciones y los ruidos que hay en puerto viejo en epoca alta. los dueños del hotel son gente muy agradable que te ayudaran en todo lo que necesites. las habitaciones son comodas y limpias

The facilities were the best. Beautiful clean new bathroom & good kitchen too. The family could not have been more helpful.

This hotel is like staying with a family. They are sweet and eager to see that you are happy. The location is easy walking to anywhere you want to go. But far enough to get away from the party and get some sleep. Bike rentals are right on the property. And if you are missing your family pet back home. There are plenty here that are happy to get some of your attention.

Hote tranquillo vicino al centro 3 min a piedi 2 in bici, che noleggiano in sede. Hotel familiare tutti e tre Cecilia madre William e Liliana i figli, persone disponibilissime. Consiglio hotel.

Recomendado Hostal Cecilia, excelente atención. Está aislado del bullicio excelente para descansar. Pagas justo por lo necesario, nada de lujos. Excelente relación calidad-precio. Nos entregaron la habitación mucho antes de lo previsto. Volvería

It is a beautiful place, peaceful, the room was clean, nice customer service, the room has fridge and kitchen, the bed y confortable and the bathroom is big, I would totally go again, close to the center and with rent a bike service, it has parking spot. Friendly people that is always available to give you restaurants recommendations. I will be more than happy to go again
