We visited Lakshmi during July which is in the middle of the local dry season. It was extremely hot at times but also variable so be prepared for changing weather patterns. Our booking was all inclusive including the initial taxi from Iquitos and subsequent boat ride to the lodge. Our guide, Adderly, was very knowledgeable about the local ecosystems and took us to a number of different locations around the reserve. We were well looked after and had healthy two or three course meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff were always on hand to help us out with any problems or to remove unwanted visitors from our room! It was an excellent experience and one that we'll never forget!

Our experience with Lakshmi was so far above and beyond what we expected. Our guide, Adderli, led us on incredible adventures including night-time jungle hikes; monkey, dolphin and sloth-sighting on the river and even piraña fishing!! The lodge staff provided us with incredible stay and transportation service, accommodating an inconvenient travel time on our way out while making us feel comfortable and cared for, feeding us well, and making our stay feel like home.

beatutiful spot, amazing grounds (lots of stairs but we are fine with stairs!) gorgeous rooms, friendly staff, nice food. Very relaxing perfect balance of luxury and nature.
