Quality of the facility was OK for its age; however, the price was way too high !!

The cost per night was way too much for the facilities provided.

Having the toilet bathroom down the hall was off putting

Nikki was amazing. Early checkin wasnt a problem. So accomodating. Room was great. Staff couldn't do enough. Just aweome!!

Nice place to stay. Quite expensive due to having to walk down hallway to use shared toilets and bathrooms which were clean but dated. There were no hand basins to wash hands in toilets. The staff were very friendly and the food was very nice. Room was clean and tidy with comfortable bed.

An incredible, nicely refurbished historical hotel! The bedding is excellent, the rooms are have modern amenities, while showcasing the historicness of hotel. And the front desk staff really support bicyclists! BVRT riders will feel at home.

The Hotel is old but spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Fully authentic vintage pub stay, loved it. Had the creaky floor and steps, the meat tray raffle at the bar, great food and staff that were very welcoming.

A lovely colonial hotel. Make sure you know about the shared bathroom. Staff very helpful and lovely. Rooms are very basic. No extras like tissues, reading lamps, cups etc.

No tea or coffee in room, only to be purchased in dinning room, but had a kettle and fridge, but no cups!

Staff were so hospitable thank you - was a quaint experience

My Name is Jay and I'm Profoundly Deaf , I stayed over night on the 16th of June 2025: Eve , Micheal and all the staff I come in contact with were/are fantastic, friendly, helpful , kind and very accommodating. Being a Profoundly Deaf person , all the staff tried their 100% to communicate with me. I recommend The Grand Hotel Esk to anyone needing a wonderful place to stay , have a fantastic meal and injoy a family friendly atmosphere. Thank-you very much for a 5 star experience .
