There aren’t many hotels to choose from in Hakkari. Hotel Sibar is central, on street parking is available, the staff are helpful and some speak English. I’m not convinced that at £80 per night it is better value than other hotels in the Van or Hakkari region.

Nice hotel in wonderful Hakkari, town in the valley surrounded on all sides by mountains.
