The hotel was fine but we were taken a bit aback by the condition of the bathroom floor. Seemed dirty. For the prices per night, the room fell short of our expectations. The bed was really comfy and a plus for us. Tip of the hat to the nice lady who greeted us at reception desk. She was well spoken, professional & friendly.

They have bikes that you can use to ride into tiwn. It was wonderful.

great place to stay

Beautiful location and very friendly staff. Easy to drive to and from. Breakfast was great and dining in the restaurant was outstanding. Our server, Linda, was very helpful and informative about the area and in helping us with the language. I would definitely come back if I have the opportunity.

Just really disappointing. The beach was nice, but def not private. Man at the desk was nice, but not the lady. Breakfast was basic and no fish at all, no one cleaning up or replenishing food. Pay for anything extra. Hot room. Had to walk a mile to park . It was ok, but not what I expected for the price. I also like paying upfront, not at the end.

Hotellet ligger flot imod fjorden. Værelser er ok, men der mangler blot en kedel til at koge sig en kop te eller kaffe. Morgenmad var normal standard men brød kan fremhæves som rigtigt godt sammen med den hjemmelavede marmelade.

We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the hotel grounds which is the real joy of the place. The hotel is Danish and austere but comfortable and the amenities were good.

Large and rather charmless hotel, seemingly designed for conferences and meetings rather than holiday guests. Long, two-storey wings built out from a central hub, parking all around. There is a restaurant and the food is OK, but if you want variety, the hotel’s location two kilometres outside Faaborg means driving in to town for dinner (or taking an infrequent and expensive bus). Small rooms and no air conditioning makes sleeping difficult on hot nights - no fans available. Shower stall in the bathroom almost too small to use without bashing elbows as you try to reach the inconveniently placed and unresponsive liquid soap dispenser. That said, the staff are willing and as helpful as they can be. The first floor rooms have balconies and some of them have sea views. And it’s much more expensive to stay in town.

The hotel is located close to the fjord and on the outskirts of town. It is a motel that has been hugely extended into a large conference hotel, and this causes some problems for the non-conference hotel guest - parking was difficult if you arrived late in the afternoon. The hotel also sells overnight stays via the Danish "Spot Deal" and Sweet Deal" (like the UK "Groupon"), and we were annoyed to find that those guests paid the same for a complete overnight stay with evening meal, that we paid for our meal alone and those guests were actually treated better! Hotel staff were generally a bit disinterested. The restaurant was expensive and the service haphazard.

Visited this part of Denmark as my Father grew up here many years ago. This hotel was very pleasant and one we could recommend.

Just stayed for one night, breaking up the long journey between North Zeeland and South Jutland. Lovely location, nicely appointed rooms with a small balcony ..... nice modern decor, great bathroom, very clean. Hotel was very modern, spacious; staff helpful. The gym downstairs was excellent .... treadmills, cycling machines, stepper and various other upper body machines. Breakfast was excellent too.

Our superior room was nice but we were surprised about having to share an iron in the hallway.

Wonderful hotel great room cmfortable bed

Felt a bit like the twilight zone... wondering what is this place and why do people even come here?? The website pictures were misleading... there is actually a busy highway between the hotel (actually, MOTEL) and the "beach"... with quotations because it was maybe 10 meters of sandy beach on either side of an old jetty. The bathroom flooded after every shower; walls were paper thin, we faced another row of 2 story Motel rooms; decor was very outdated and tired; room was stuffy at night because we couldn't open the windows (no air cond.) because the area was swarmed with these little black, thirsty beetles that were literally everywhere. Open the car door, at least 10 of the little buggers went in with you (not Hotel's fault). It took us forever to find a half decent restaurant for dinner. We were supposed to stay 3 nights... we cut it to 1 and got the heck out of there the next morning. Breakfast was ok.

Very nice and helpful staff. Clean hotel with a great view out to the ocean.

Dejligt værelse. Lydtæt. God morgenmad. Spa og wellness er for dyrt, når man også betaler for værelset.

Dejligt hotel ud til vandet. Vi fik serveret en uforglemmelig morgenmad med hjemmelavet syltetøj, øllebrød og en brunsviger hvor den tykke brune sukker- substans der ligger øverst, nærmest var flydende. Virkelig lækker og delikat. Det var en tilfældighed at vi havde brug for en overnatning i Faaborg, men det bliver ikke den sidste på dette dejlige sted.
