The lady who runs it is very sweet and overall it was ok for the price. There was some confusion as I couldn’t contact them via Expedia to arrange an airport transfer as they don’t get many of their bookings from here. We eventually sorted it but it wasn’t straightforward. The property is about 10-15 minute from the Pyramids and having seen that for an extra £10 per night we could’ve stayed in an actual hotel opposite, I would’ve done that in order to avoid the hassle of crowds when going to and from the Pyramids. Although the reviews I read said the rooms were clean, mine wasn’t. It was perhaps an anomaly but the bathroom and floors weren’t clean and my showerhead was over the toilet so it wets the toilet paper. Bit of an odd design. But for £15 a night you have to make some sacrifices!
