I've stayed in four, five star hotels in Manhattan. This hotel is better than them in some ways. My wife and I both like the breakfast they serve. We'll be back.

Everyone was fantastic! Very close to all the action right in the heart of Times Square.

A fantastic, historic property in the heart of Manhattan. The room was beautifully designed with a fireplace, ample seating, & comfortable bedding. For NYC, very spacious, yet cosy. Staff were helpful & friendly. Convenient location to Times Square, Theatre District, Hell’s Kitchen, & close to The High Line. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel and amazing time! Upon arrival the hotel upgraded me and my boyfriend for free. We had a suite with a Juliet balcony. Everything was beyond affordable. The view was beautiful and only a quick 2 minute walk to times square. The staff was beyond kind and our favorite part of our stay was the rooftop terrace with beautiful views and cozy atmosphere. We would 100% book here/ stay here again.

Amazing, breakfast was out of this world. Great place, lots of room for a family of 4(adults). 100% would return again.fantastic location

Family trip.

I love this hotel! What a great discovery for staying in and around the theater district and restaurant row. It is TINY at the entrance so look for the Backstage Tavern which is adjacent and attached to the hotel. The lobby isnt really a lobby it is just a very narrow hall with a desk at the end of it next to the elevator. We checked in with ease and were upgraded to the largest room I have ever stayed in in NYC! 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a living room AND a private terrace! Wow! Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was gigantic and very clean! They lose one star because when we checked in we were told the hotel could offer a late check out if we needed it. My fiance had an follow up appt Monday morning with his surgeon at HSS and we didnt know if we would need a little more time (asked for an extra hour). We were denied that request but in truth we only stayed one night and did not use the other half of the room and barely used the living space so I think they could have afforded time to allow this. However any time we go to see a show in midtown we will be staying at this lovely hotel. Breakfast (continental) is also included from 8am to 10am which was nice. The cost of this stay was only 200 with taxes and fees! Incredible for NYC!

The staff was amazing- professional, incredibly accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean, well appointed and super comfortable. We will definitely return, Oh- and the rooftop breakfast is just perfect! Thank you!

We loved our room! The terrace is beautiful and nice to sit on after a long day of walking. The breakfast was convenient and an added bonus. Lots of restaurants near by and easy walk to the theaters, time square and transportation (subways)! Highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We spent 2 nights here to close out a 3 week trip to Italy. It is a block and a half to Times Square on what they called "Restaurant Row". We got the 2 bedroom family style room and it was absolutely perfect. Included a small terrace that was awesome to sit on at night. Great hotel, nice staff, decent continental breakfast to start the day.

Beautiful boutique hotel

I booked Hotel Scherman for our mother/ daughter NYC trip. Its location to theaters and Times Square was perfect for us. Quick walk to shows, delicious restaurants, subway stations without hearing the noise of TS from our hotel room. This boutique hotel is really a little gem in NYC! The hotel staff is very kind and they upgraded our room as a treat upon our arrival. I was so pleased and felt very safe here. 100% will be staying here on our return trips. *pic from our 3rd floor balcony

Phenomenal boutique hotel. Centrally located and despite being in the middle of a fun area with lots of life, it was quiet. Maps will show you how walkable to XYZ this hotel is, but it really was great to experience it. Rooftop deck is a bonus. A great spot.
