I like the location being not right in a town but a short distance of drive from places such as Bibury and Cirencester. The room is on the small side but sufficient for our purpose. The inn faces an open ground with tables for drinkers and a creek which gave a good mix of environment. The rate was super reasonable which made me initially thought that breakfast was not included and turned out to be inclusive. We ate dinner one night and the food was incredible. The host and hostess were very hospitable and their staff very friendly. Very highly recommended.

Me and my partner stayed at the Bathurst Arms for his birthday weekend away and had such a lovely time. The location was fantastic, everywhere we wanted to visit in the Cotswolds was within around 30 minutes, which made it the perfect base for exploring. The food was really nice, the room was clean and quiet, and we especially loved the comfy bed, nice bathroom and great shower. The hosts were also lovely and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing Cotswolds getaway.

Great pub, food, service and rooms

Very lovely pub with rooms above. The friendly staff and dog made the experience great. Beautiful scenery from the windows. Sourdough toast at breakfast was delicious. You can hear underneath your room but this is an old building, it’s very valid. The entry way into the room and bathroom can be quite low so if you’re above 5’7, keep ducking! Comfy bed, great shower, great service, looking forward to coming again on our next road trip around the Cotswolds.

Very welcoming, great imaginative food and clean rooms.

An incredibly enjoyable experience. The staff was overwhelmingly friendly and made us feel welcome the second we walked in. The place had an incredible atmosphere felt cozy, and historic, and all the meals we had there were just perfect! It felt like home away from home… But even better!

Very helpful and friendly staff. An easy drive into Cirencester which is certainly worth a visit: Corinium museum; Abbey grounds; excellent range of coffee shops.

Wonderful stay with exceptional hosts! The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. The stairs up were a bit rough. Excellent customer service, delicious breakfast, nice pub, but the highlight was the dining. The food was absolutely delicious - SO glad we chose to dine there with our large family group. Beautiful gardens out front with outdoor dining, parking on site, and bus stop just across the street into town. Would stay there again and recommend!

Experience the beauty of the Cotswold right outside the door of this hotel. Simply amazing. Food was over the top and the staff treat you like family.

This is a really special place. The food was excellent, the staff was very warm and accommodating, the locals visiting the Pub were great personalities. We’d love to stay here again.
