Nestled along the tranquil banks of the Kamo River, this riverside hotel in Kyoto offers a serene escape from the bustling city. We were greeted with stunning views of the flowing river and the surrounding lush greenery, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The hotel features morden Japanese architecture, blending elegance with comfort. We have enjoyed our breakfast on the terrace, basking in the gentle morning sunlight while listening to the soothing sounds of nature. With easy access to nearby temples and cultural attractions, this hotel is an ideal base for exploring the rich history and beauty of Kyoto. We will surely come again.

Clean and peaceful

The room was spotless, and Comfortable. But what was best about this place is staff were amazing! Everyone was so nice! They helped me with everything.

Had a wonderful stay all around. New, extremely well appointed, suite, and great staff, who were gracious and responsive. Highly recommend!

The room was huge, brand new and beautiful with incredible amenities, but the service sets apart the Kamo from other hotels. The staff repeatedly went beyond expectations.

Swift check-in, super friendly staff showed us to our suite. Fantastic greeting with nice champagne and some local confectionary, fruit and mochi. We got a complimentary upgrade to executive river suite. Molto chic, very nicely furnished and unbelievable details, spotless clean. Beds perfect, tech like TVs and speakers high-end. Concierge service amazing, around the clock. We got one of the best high-end Kaiseki restaurants for dinner that night. Thank you and big ups!

Brilliant location and close to the top spots we went to see. Quiet neighborhood by the river. Suite was large and luxurious. Lovely bouquet, complimentary wine, and confectionary on arrival. The kitchen was well equipped, with a microwave too. Washer dryer in Japanese language, but staff helped us. Easy! Concierge services were also exceptional. Excellent Michelin star restaurant reservation on the same day.

Location is by the Kamo river delta. Lots of fine restaurants around which the concierge booked for us on short notice. Michelin one and two star dinners. Well done. Suite was amazingly quiet, top floor with superb views. Staff was consistently there for us and granted every wish. Full kitchen, microwave and washer dryer. Hopsitality staff took care of everything. Thank you very much.

Gorgeous boutique hotel with a homey vibe. Concierge and housekeeping are around 24h and constantly followed up on our wishes. Great airport transfer and restaurant bookings. For those who like privacy. Furniture and amenities are high class. Great views over river, shrines and mountainside.

A personalized service. Concierge contacted us before our arrival to find out our needs for the evening. Recommended a fine yakiniku restaurant. Arranging taxis, some shopping, and driver for us. Our suite had nice views, ultra comfortable, excuisite and tasteful decor. Kitchen has microwave. Appreciated all the smart tech.

今回の京都の旅は以前にも旅行で宿泊したKAMOを再訪。 ホテルの立地は静かな環境に囲まれているにもかかわらず、京阪線出町柳駅があり、祇園四条やその他の観光スポットにもアクセス良好で、これぞ京都という多くの観光客でにぎわう有名な観光スポットも静かな住環境もいいとこどりができました。 久しぶりの宿泊でしたが、部屋は非常に広く開放感があり、床から天井にまで及ぶ大きな窓からも冬の静寂の鴨川を一望できました。 お風呂好きの日本人の私としては、深さがあり追い焚き機能がついている浴槽にはやはり感動しました。 また、普段は不眠症が酷い私ですが、ホテルのシモンズマットレスが私に合っていたのか、宿泊した数日はぐっすり眠ることができました。 ホテルのスタッフも親切で、遅い時間にかえって来て色々ダメもとで夜食や飲み物をお願いしたのですが、機転を利かせて対応してもらえて非常に驚きました。 朝食も私の希望に合わせてカスタマイズしていただきうれしかったです。私は日本語で足りたのですが、スタッフの方は中国語、英語のコミュニケーションも全く問題ないようで、特に欧米のお客さんにも人気なようです。ホテルには洗濯機、電子レンジ、オープンキッチンなどの設備も整っており、事前にスタッフの方に伝えておけば、洗濯や乾燥もしてもらえるので、日中遊びまわっていた私としても助かりました。 次にまとまった休みがいつ取れるか分かりませんが、また、次回もこちらでゆっくりリラックスするのを楽しみにしています。

My second stay here. Manager upgraded me to panoramic view. Again, amazing Michelin star restaurant reservations for lunch and dinner. Early and fast check-in (less than a minute), super clean, modern, classy. Great space. Staff did some grocery shopping for me as I had a tight schedule. They also booked my Shinkansen tickets and driver for half day. Washer-dryer in suite, Maru was too kind to run it while I was away. Beautiful!

This place is just amazing in every way. The view from our room overlooking the kamo river is very picturesque. The layout of the room is very well designed and the room is huge and tastefully decorated. The location is close to the subway and minimarts. Love the microwave, the 2 televisions, and the washing machine. Highly recommend!!
