Great value and space for families would recommend

This is one of the older pubs but the rooms (we were in the one bedroom apartment) have been renovated to a high standard, with full cooking facilities and tv in both the lounge and bedroom. I have no trouble in recommending, it is very close to the centre of town and grocery shop.

The price was great,staff helpful,room was clean,tidy,presentable and close proximity to shops a d grocery stores to purchase convenient local amenities... However... Unfortunately I decided to stay there with an abusive gas lighting narcissist who made the entire vibe of the stay just feel yucky,low and terrible. Highly recommend the Metropolitan Hotel. 5 stars all round.

The staff were excellent. Spoke to the girls at the bar and they went out of their way to help. Top service, well done.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Heather and her team couldn’t do enough for us; Nothing was a problem. Clean modern large suite. Great kitchen. Roomy bedrooms. Pleasantly surprised we had a very handy laundry within the unit. TV in each bedroom. Good AC. Plenty of towels and crisp bedlinen. Gave us a little bit of additional time to check out as my Dad has Parkinson’s and is slow to move in the mornings. Great location. Great price. 2nd time we have stayed here. Best kept secret in Mackay. Will be back!

Heathers communication was great especially Friday being a public holiday, great instructions on how to get the key. Room great and clean, beds comfortable as well
