This is a good, reliable, clean, budget place to stay. We used it when walking Stage 4 of the SW Coast Path - very convenient. Easy to park round the corner at Ropery Road car park. Hearty breakfast available (actually at sister hotel, The Royal Britannia Hotel opposite) overlooking the harbour. We had a fantastic meal at 'Giovanni and Luca' Italian restaurant nearby (booking essential in summer).

Great location but very basic facilities and pretty dirty especially the outside of the toilet bowl which clearly hadnt been cleaned for weeks or months. Clear retraining clearly necessary. Bar are in The Britannia (where you go for brealfast) opposite was grubby.

Perfect place for a stay in the town - right next to the harbour - yes there was noise from the road but it’s an active harbour so what would you expect - good food options in the area and pubs nice

Clean & fresh. Stairs will be a problem for some people. Public parking ~ 300m away.

Clean room, nice views. Check in was smooth. Lots of stairs up to the room but we knew that when booking. Would stay again as it’s good value for money.

The room was clean and functional. The staff were lovely. Breakfast was excellent. The property is right near the harbour.

Great place to visit lots of places to eat

Room was OK, basic and functional. Wooden floors throughout, meant that there was much noise from other rooms and the landing. Mostly due the fact that a school group of maybe 12-13 year old boys were staying.

Room was spotless, superb view over the harbour, would definitely recommend and would book again.

Harbour Lights was an experience we will never forget! Kyle at reception was beyond helpful, writing a lengthy list of attractions, ensuring we had a suitable room and switched us to their sister hotel The Royal Britannia. John was also amazing sharing some local favourites and chatting away each time we crossed paths. Our room and ensuite was huge and beautiful, with a large bay window and seating overlooking the harbour. The restaurant downstairs had amazing barkeeps that smiled and chatted friendly each time we requested a jug of ice to chill our drinks. Bed was comfortable, room was clean with access to fresh towels and linens whenever needed. 11/10 will HIGHLY recommend to anyone!

I liked that you can walk to everything Unfortunately parking is very expensive, we paid 12 p to park overnight in the car park

Very nice and clean . Conveniently located in town with lovely shops, pubs and harbor.
