Excellent all round - food is quite pricey, but deservedly so.... you get what you pay for. Staff were great, only a shame I had to be away early and missed what would have probably been an amazing breakfast!

Always a pleasure to stay at The Peacock. We stay in the Sycamore Cottage which is lovely and quaint. Breakfast is spot on. This is our secons time staying here and will definitely come back. Walking route to Linacre Woods and Reservoirs is on your doorstep and a nice 11km round trip.

Cosy comfortable room, lovely bathroom. Staff attentive, gorgeous food on evening meal and breakfast delicious to match. Huge compliments to the chefs and the team!

The room was spotless,comfortable and well equipped. Loved the under floor heating in the bathroom. Sunday dinner was very good and Breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean room, beautiful decorated hotel and wonderful staff. To top it all up, the food was excellent too.

We stayed in Barley Cottage across the road from the hotel. It was fantastic for the 4 of us that stayed there. Staff are very attentive. The food in the hotel was excellent. Especially the breakfast. Lovely cosy bar and restaurant. Could not have asked for a nicer nights stay in the peak district.

Excellent boutique style room, with very comfy bed, and large bathroom with a large walk in shower. All staff friendly and helpful. Meals - evening and breakfast were generous and tasty. Would stay again.

Stayed at Sycamore Cottage and could not have wished for a better place to stay, food great at the pub and fantastic service thank you and we will be returning.

Perfect in everything

Room was clean after we requested that it should be serviced daily. Staff were good. Breakfast good and varied Main menu was somewhat expensive (although this seems to be a general trend.).
