Small but really nice hotel inside Saint-Malo.The room is a little bit small but work perfectly for two people and two 31 inch suitcases.I think we were in the first room on the right hand on level 2 (actually it is the third floor because the ground floor is called level 0).This is important because we've got the best room of this hotel. This room has an approximately 50 square meter balcony (maybe even larger than that because you can actually stand right above the main entrance of the hotel). This space is large enough to play some catch and throw baseball game (personally I don't recommend you actually doing that for it may hurt others). We used this place to have some afternoon tea and for drying clothes (Saint-Malo is a very humid place that you can get your clothes wet standing in front of the sea wind). There is a small artist square in front of the hotel with some impressive painters selling their stuffs. Approximately 3 minutes walk to the main gate. Considerably easy to find (Saint-Malo has a complicated road network). The faculty speaks little English so that will be a small trouble. The WiFi network was not very stable. We faced a half-day connection issue and almost miss the deadline of booking the next tour online. The breakfast was terrible. They served bad fruit aging from the day before. They don't have a lift so do not choose this hotel if your are a lady traveling alone for you may get exhausted lifting your luggage.

It was a nice hotel. Handy for being inside the 'Intramuros' at Saint Malo. The whole parking situation was a bit inconvenient and very confusing. (The staff who explained it to us may have been new and left some vital information out, it's about a 5 minute walk/drive away). The room was clean, minimally decorated and tiny but suited it's purpose. The staff, on the whole, was helpful. The picture of the hotel, on this site, is not the front of the hotel, at all. It a view from the back which is only accessible by a private room. Oh, yes, the elevator is not handy, at all. You need to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to an entrance door that shut properly as to make it function properly. Only 1 person at a time can use it. I wouldn't return.

L’hotel a eu un grand coup de frais à l'arrivée des nouveaux propriétaires, tout est parfaitement décoré, peintures ... Magnifique ! Pour moi une petite remarque sur les oreillers, des memoires de forme seraient appréciés. Ppur le reste, superbe accueil, superb

Ett super trevligt, nyrenoverat (? kändes så i alla fall), centralt beläget hotell innanför murarna. Fräscha små ljusa rum som dessutom var väldigt tysta. Trevlig personal och bra frukost. Vi kommer gärna igen.

This is a sweet little hotel right in the center of St. Malo’s walled city. Warm staff and lovely breakfast. My room was small, but I prefer that. Great place!

Pænt hotel inden for bymuren. Flinkt og hjælpsomt personale. Vi havde “superiore cosy” værelse, og det var i hvert fald højt beliiggende under taget. Steghedt. Nåede værelse via minielevator (højest 100 kg). Lidt vanskeligt for to perseoner med hver sin rullekuffert. Parkering foregår lige uden for bymuren. Der er masser af pladser, og det er ikke dyrt natten over (< 30 DKK). Miljøet inden for muren er noget af en dyrehavsbakke med masser af turister og restauranter med halvdårlig men ikke særlig billig mad.

The Hotel was easy to get to, being just 15 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The room was comfy. The room, stairs and bar area were pretty in a nod to 1920s & 30s decor, interspersed with local art and images. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast options are simple but tasty and good value. I would definitely stay again.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We loved being inside the walls. The area surrounding the hotel was lovely. The room was small but nicely decorated. There is a small elevator. We enjoyed our stay.

A lovely little hotel in the heart of St Malo.

This is a really excellent independant hotel, with a welcoming staff and lovely, extremely clean rooms. I hope to come back soon. I don't think another hotel has ever made me feel as at home and welcome.

Bon hôtel, bien placé. Personnels très agréables. Dommage juste pour l'insonorisation car les voisins d’a côté ne doivent pas savoir que la nuit on ne mets pas la télé trop forte. Sinon a part ce désagrément la chambre était nickel. Le petit plus une télé 100cm. Nota: mettre une affiche pour dire au gens de ne pas faire trop de bruit passer 22h00
