Needed somewhere central to stay and this place for the bill, clean and tidy, comfortable bed, recommended

Awful parking no chance of improving . Saw one person while I was there in 3 days very polite offered to help with luggage . Stairs not really suitable for children or elderly.(as I am ) Take your own mug in my room(Single) I had what resembled a thick pottery cup ( no saucer ) Bedding and towels pure white and delight . New en- suite bathroom toiletries included. Diddnt smell fresh ( smoke ) carpet was threadbare . Decor and red curtains awful needs replacing . Could not keep window open . Very central very quiet Beautiful old building. The main thing was not 10 inches from my window scaffolding which was used by builders Saturday and Sunday morning who were very loud vocal language unrepeatable . Could be with TLC attention to detail a very sought after single occupancy….

The rooms were very clean and there was plenty of tea/coffee available. The host was very helpful and pleasant. The Guest House was situated in a quiet location just off the town centre and about a 20-25 minute walk from the Railway Station. If I was visiting the area again I wouldn't have any hesitation in staying at the Archway Guest House.

Good value especially given the location in the centre of town in the more historic part of the town near to St Wulfrums church and some good historic pubs

Location is perfect in the city, rooms are clean and warm, beds are super comfy. Is the best Guest House I have stayed so far. Highly recommended if you're staying in Grantham. Kept high standards 💯 👌

City centre location but not good for parking.

Lovely place to stay- self contained accommodation with walk in shower, cloakroom, and generous bedroom. Room was cleaned daily. Lovely outdoor spaces, set in medieval Grantham. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants. We ate at the Piggy Bank which was about 5 mins walk away. 100% would stay again.

The lady who ran the property was super- so helpful with everything including car parking, restaurants etc. what a lovely lovely place to stay xx

Staff did respond to some of these issues during the stay, but we did consider cutting our stay short. The mattress springs are extremely noticeable. On the first night, there was a constant fan noise from adjacent room 11pm-10:30am (sound insulation) One of the bathroom hooks fell off the wall in the night. Presumably this has happened before because another one of the hooks is upside down. The bathroom socket cover has fallen off the wall. The sink was missing a plug or strainer, which means items could easily fall down the drain. I think the missing plug is also causing the strange bathroom smell. There was a small blood stain on the wall next to the bathroom door. The shower head holder needs replacing or tightening, as it slowly slips down in angle during the shower and then falls out. The broken off jagged plastic from the former soap dish is still attached to the pole. The electrics were overdue PAT testing. The carpet in the hallway is coming away from the floor, leaving a trip hazard at the top of the stairs.

Nice room with clean en-suite. No one answered the door at first but we just rang the phone number and someone said they would call the person who was on reception to come to the door. Which they did. All else fine.

Nice hotel. Convenient for central Grantham.

Nice and clean rooms. Very beautiful garden area.

Very pleasant room, good outdoor space with part undercovered area for when raining. Room 10 which we were in needs the following:- larger cups, ie mugs with spoons, a shelf in the bathroom near the sink, clothes hooks in bathroom, more clothes hangers in wardrobe. More information on lack of food.

Absolutely Fab Guest House, modern and clean and Dean the owner was very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this hotel, and will stay again.

Quirky but lovely, welcoming guest house. We will definitely be back if / when we're in the area again.

The bedroom door lock was feeble, the bathroom smelt of damp , and the bed was uncomfortable!

Convenient location. Room was fine, everything was clean and worked. Heating was fierce and radiator took hours to cool.
