The family room was set up in a way where the air conditioning unit was blowing directly onto one of the beds, this made it inpossible to sleep without having a freezing cold breeze. When telling the hotel staff the next morning, the boomer woman at reception didn't seem to care, offered no apology and said "there's nothing we can do about that".

We both had a truly wonderful stay at The Hillbrook in Sherborne. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly & made us very welcome to everything exceeded our expectations. The studio apartment was exceptional—beautifully presented, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with comfort and attention to detail in mind. It felt both luxurious and welcoming, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy our time there. The peaceful setting added to the experience, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting. Every aspect of our stay reflected care and quality, and it’s clear that a lot of pride goes into maintaining such high standards. We would highly recommend The Hillbrook to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in Sherborne, and we very much look forward to returning in the future.

Very clean and spacious and any queries were immediately dealt with by the helpful and friendly staff. I would though prefer an en-suite that was not a wet room, with a bath ideally.

Lovely, new hotel. Room was very big and so comfortable. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing with excellent service. Parking is free and very convenient This was my 4th stay and will definitely stay again.

We loved our room om level 3. Really spacious and very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a good meal in the restaurant. Parking was easy. So all in all a good weekend break.

Fantastic hotel

Dog friendly hotel where rooms are superb, clean and spacious and well laid out. It was our second visit and although it is not the cheapest hotel, it is worth the extra if you want to spoil yourself a little.

The staff were very good - friendly and really helpful. The room was lovely, large, comfortable, clean, fresh and loving bedding.

Excellent junior suite. Newly built. Excellent restaurant and breakfast, free parking. The hotel is a 20 min walk from the centre of Sherborne. We will stay at the hotel again when travelling through Dorset. Highly recommend.
