Had a superb stay here, would definitely stay again. Cooked breakfast and cereal/fruit platter was fantastic. Lovely host who is very welcoming and helpful. Its a good location in Kendal, away from the busy pubs but is only a short walk to the shopping high street.

A short break and we had a great stay

It took a couple of (hilarious) phone calls before I found the parking but once there it was very convenient and secure. B&B in a well maintained listed building. Be prepared for some stairs. Room facilities were extensive with the most generous drinks and snacks tray. Breakfast was delicious and my vegetarian needs more than catered for. I'd be delighted to return.

Lovely breakfast selection, all fresh and tasty. Nice room with lots of little extras. Really lovely lady who can’t do enough to make your stay special. Having a dedicated car park is a real bonus in Kendal.

Glynis is a really friendly and amenable host. She couldn’t do enough to help and made the stay comfortable and trouble free. Would definitely stay again.

First class experience. The landlady was very welcoming and friendly Nice comfy bed and spacious bedroom. Very nice freshly cooked breakfast Just a 15 minute easy walk into the town. Would highly recommend

Glynis is a wonderful host. Nothing too much trouble and serves a wonderful, all singing and dancing breakfast. So much choice!!

I cannot fault my stay. Everything I needed, and more, was in the room. Bed and coverings were extremely comfortable so I had a great couple of night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent. I had a full breakfast both days and felt the food was of a great quality, with plenty of choices. My host was very friendly, welcoming and provided a service that means on my next trip to Kendal I will 100% be returning to Glenholme!

The hostess was most welcoming and informative. Glenys made us all feel comfortable so that we were chatting together over breakfast. A delightful touch was the treats in the bedroom. The property is an easy walk from town. The room was comfortable and roomy. A good bathroom.

Lovely little b&b, very friendly landlady who made us very welcome.
