it was an ok hotel staff were really friendly and helpful the breakfast was really nice except for the canned mushrooms

really well priced, great location in the sea front. bedding was super clean and very comfortable. the walls were quite dirty though and the light in the bathroom was permanently flickering. all in all, i really enjoyed my stay. the old school lift is a thing of beauty - don’t ever change it. i think a lick of paint in the room would make the world of difference

Staff seemed tired, but quite helpful, breakfast very average and limited, had no fruit, and no real fruit juice. Noisy at night with people outside drinking and smoke drifted into bedroom if window open.

Roo was clean bit of odd smell in hallway not sure what it was but place was ideal for what I needed it for

Upgraded to a family room which was lovely the view was excellent can't comment on breakfast as I didn't have it Bar open till midnight it could of done with a little background music as it was very quiet Will definitely stay there again even though it is out of the way but there's bus stop right outside hotel Room was very very clean

The hotel is pleasant but a little dated some rooms could do with a lick of paint and the carpets in places need a clean. A good night's sleep nice staff. Hotel is ideally situated on the sea front.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms and the property were clean. Staff only entered rooms on request so i was happy to leave more valuable items in my room. Breakfast was good and basic. The parking on site is very limited but the whole of the prom has free parking.

Okay place to stay, wouldn't stay again though. Breakfast wasn't too bad but the whole place had the scent of wet dog

I struggled whether to write this review.I’ll start by saying the staff were absolutely lovely,very professional and dealt with our complaint with real empathy.Unfortunately,the pictures on the site do not reflect the reality of this hotel,as another guest in reception at the same time also raised. Firstly,we filtered our results by parking,as this was really important.I didn’t realise until I phoned the hotel that parking is on-street only along a busy sea-front,with some spaces at the back.They heavily stressed that there’s no CCTV here.We did find a space.When we went in,it smelt strongly of smoke.Admittedly this may be because someone was smoking near the entrance.The room itself was stifling hot,which concerned us,though the staff member kindly offered to try to find a fan.The room overlooked a flat roof with rubbish on and the paint was cracked and peeling away from the wall in some places.There was an accumulation of dust in the bathroom fan (I was disappointed to have a very small shower cubicle and no bath - challenging when travelling with small children).There were running dirty water marks and cracks on the bathroom walls and main door,and what could have possibly been mould in places.The advertised restaurant only opened for breakfast,leaving us with no food options other than delivery - unless we wanted to risk our parking space and drive into town.For over £160 per night,this was unacceptable.We left and booked a different hotel.The lady kindly refunded us.

Good stay

The staff are lovely here. My room had a sea view and it was beautiful to wake up to. There is only street parking outside but it is free too. I will certainly visit again.

Check in was easy. Staff helpful. The lift was like the lifts on Titanic, you had to close the gate before it would move. The room was ok, bed very uncomfortable.. I could feel every spring. Breakfast wasn't the best. Mushrooms horrible. Beans very watery. Scrambled egg not very nice. Sausage and bacon were OK. The staff multitask. The same lady was on reception, the bar and serving breakfast. Parking on the road was free. Would I stay again? I doubt it!
