A quiet place to stay. The hotel is next to train station, very convenient, easy to reach.

Was lovely quiet area breakfast was good choice

For the price the raven was ok but room needed a bit of TLC. Food was good if a little pricey. Staff although young were very good.

Limited check in window, A/C for staff in the reception but nothing else for the guest areas. Typical Green King cash cow with minimal investment.

Budget accommodation and an acceptable price

Hotel is a little tired but convenient for railway station

There was no one on reception and had to phone to get someone to check us in. I had arranged a couple of weeks before to check in early. The room was clean but in need of being updated as was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was okay but the food was not very hot.

Lovely place

The room was really nice I liked the fact it had an ironing stand and iron and a fan. I would have been nice if there was more milk

The hotel needs updating, there were some damp patches in the common parts. The bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep.

Booked a table for dinner, all good until main course was cleared. Asked bout deserts, nobody then came near us gor the next 90 minutes until we went to leave, no would you like to order would you like more drinks eould you like uour bill, not a thing!!

the single bed is a very small and unconfortable

This was a perfect stopover before heading to Heathrow Airport. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Very good staff service, very good value for money. Will stay here again when I am in the area.

No kettle in the room and not very clean and food not great either

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Was put in what felt like the highest room in the tower, decor was a little dated, but very comfortable with a large bathroom. Food available was a highlight, very reasonably priced for good quality, with a nice breakfast included. Would happily stay again if I'm ever back in the area.

Have stayed there many times over the years and it has always been good and reliable

Wife and I stayed here for one night. Room was clean, but dated. Bed was comfy. We didnt have evening meal here. We did have breakfast which was just about ok. Dry and shrivelled up half a tomatoe, bacon, mushrooms. The waitress was excellent. The floor was dirty with food, kids crayons and ripped napkins from the previous eve (may be longer?) When we checked out all we got was a "thanks", none of the usual departure customer service "how was your stay, was everythin ok", good bye, safe journey, see you again".
