Perfect stay for visit to Snowdonia. Extremely nice staff and share the laundry for our use. Very helpful. Highly recommended. Cosy stay with a very reasonable price.

lovely hotel in a good location close to the main Betws Yr Coed where there is a good choice of restaurants, pubs and shops. only 7 mins drive from Pen Y Pass car park and approximately 12 mins to Snowdon railway

Room was sufficient, needed updating

The hotel is fairly basic, the rooms look a bit dated, there was a crack in my bath surround and some staining on the ceiling, but I believe the rooms are due for refurbishment shortly, so this is likely to improve. The parking is just over the road, and is free for as long as you're staying (you can come and go without registering again apparently). The hotel as a whole was clean and tidy. The food was good but a bit pricey in my opinion, but it is a touristy area, so base your expectations on that. The real stand-out was the staff, they are welcoming and clearly enjoy their jobs, and are a perfect example of Welsh hospitality. This is a good hotel as a base to explore Eryri

Our stay was amazing! Only 15 minute drive to Pen y Pass. The breakfast was great and the staff was really accommodating! Would definitely come here again!

We have just returned from a lovely overnight stay at Tyn y Coed to celebrate my boyfriends Birthday, couldn't fault a thing, staff couldn't do enough for us, room was clean, warm and comfortable, the food was outstanding,we ate our evening meal there and also breakfast which was delicious. Clean cosy room with a great shower. Fantastic view of Moel Siabod, weather permiting! Staff were friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was lovely. Good selection of food on offer , watch out for great value specials, the curry was great. Free parking for residents/customers. We will be back.

Good location for Snowdon and pen-y-pass car park. Close to Betwy’s-coed. Helpful staff. Very very soft bed which meant an uncomfortable nights sleep. No fridge in room. Room by fire door in hallway so constantly banging closed anytime it was used. Room didn’t feel premium as paid for. Pub restaurant food was well cooked and tasty. Bar had a lively atmosphere but not too noisy

Great stay, clean and tidy. Staff helpful and friendly. Great location for zip world and waterfall hunting.
