Great all round hotel. No complaints whatsoever.

Always our go to family hotel whenever we are in South Wales. Clean facilities, top of the range customer service. The breakfast is also very exemplary with lots of options only downside is felt like they were rationing some of the pastries as every time we went to get some croissants they were gone and had to keep requesting the chef to add and then they were gone again, happened on two occasions. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Good quality hotel in excellent location. Good restaurant for dinner with a wide menu. Car parking at reasonable cost. I booked a superior room in order to have access to the Lounge - on the previous 3 visits there was wine at the happy hour but they seem to have discontinued this which was disappointing.

The room was very clean and spacious, temperature perfect. Food amazing, staff very friendly and welcoming.

Disappointed to be told on arrival that there was a £13.50 overnight car parking charge as there was no mention of it in the listing.

had a good two night stay at Tŷ Newport. The hotel was as you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The room was a good size, it had a kettle and the courtesy tray. The bathroom was a spacious with shower only. The noise insulation was very good. The motorway was running very close to the hotel and yet there was no noise. All the people at the reception were very friendly and professional. Also the barman was nice and polite. The only two little suggestions for improvement are: It would be useful to have a mini fridge in the room as well as some hand and body lotion in the bathroom. I liked the green initiative they had: If you did not need to have your towels changed every day, you got a voucher for a free drink at the bar. If I were go back to Newport, I would happily stay at Tŷ Newport again.

This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations. It is so competitively priced I managed by expectations but it really was one of the most comfortable hotel stays I have ever had. My daughter is at Cardiff Uni, and I have definitely found our new go-to hotel

Had a one night stay here and was highly impressed. The hotel is very close to, and part of the same group that owns, The Celtic Manor Resort. The hotel is only a couple of years old and in excellent condition. Location wise, it’s just a minute or so drive from the M4 junction at Newport. Overnight parking is charged but not excessive. Great staff. Fabulous room & bathroom. Good breakfast. Loved the place and would definitely return.

I stayed here for one night the evening before running Newport Marathon, so was looking for a quiet and comfortable room. Hotel staff were excellent; friendly and helpful with all my requests. The hotel was very clean and the bedroom was quiet and comfortable, just what I needed. The only thing stopping me giving a 5 star review was that the meal in the restaurant took a long time to arrive (understandable but still a little disappointing), and it was quite noisy in the restaurant area, making conversation difficult. Food was great when it did arrive though, and would be very happy to stay there again in future. Recommended

Room good size, comfy bed

Hotel was immaculate. The wife was pleased their toiletries were Elemis. Reception staff very accommodating and helpful. Bedroom, bathroom and hotel overall so clean
