We LOVED this hotel! So incredible! The grounds are beautiful! You feel like you are living in the highland of Skye. The rooms were comfortable and so unique. The main hotel building was stunning and the staff was so friendly. The food was incredible. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Prefect Isle of Skye experience.

The cutest hotel ever! Everything was fantastic! The staff was great and extremely helpful and friendly! The food was the best food I had my whole trip in Scotland! I loved it so much I ended up staying an extra night here!

It was a very unique and special experience in the Scottish Highlands. The staff was super friendly, going above and beyond to help with our dietary restrictions and offering suggestions for restaurants in town. Especially Paula, Peter, Paul. The meals with a view were spectacular. I enjoyed my first full Scottish breakfast! They made lovely takeaway boxes for us for an early departure on the day we checked out. Could’ve walked to town if wanted. Hamish the Porter was especially helpful. The cold plunge pool and sauna were an added benefit. Highly recommend

Superbe hotel 4 étoiles avec concept de petit cabine très confortables et bien équipées. Par contre aucune option de restauration proposée si pas de réservation au restaurant qui ferme à 20h30, ce qui n’est trop acceptable pour un établissement de ce standing et pour le prix. Par contre petit déjeuner excelllent

Phenomenal stay at a breathtaking area in Scotland The Isle of Skye .The room was super clean and had everything one needed in a compact package .We stayed two nights just last week ! The breakfasts which were included were amazing and after having dinner there our first night ,having dinner there for the second night was a no brainer ! We had such kind and attentive service from Mina and Mahmoud . They were so naturally nice and hospitable it felt like we were at home ! The only knock at all was the bartender who worked on night of April 18th , he seemed disinterested just for a simple whisky pour,way different than the professional attentive almost loving care by Mina and Mahmoud . We were in Scotland for 17 days and he by far had the coldest inhospitable demeanor of any bartender THE ENTIRE TRIP ! For a jewel of a bar with beautiful lighting ,displays ,and seating it is even more surprising of how bad his demeanor was .Everything at Brackenhide was 5 star this male bartender who worked night of April 18th was a 1star because he didnt spill our drinks and muttered a thankyou!

We had the most perfect stay at the Bracken Hide hotel. The staff were amazing and super happy to help in all areas. We had recently got engaged and they gave us the best view in the restaurant with free champagne to celebrate. We had seen negative reviews about the walk from the main hotel to the rooms but they were vastly over exaggerated and we enjoyed the walk to our room. The sauna and cold plunge are a lovely touch especially given you book it so that it’s private for you. We ate at the hotel twice and the food was excellent both nights as well as the staff being lovely. The whisky bar was also beautiful and a lovely way to end the evening.

Truly the best property in Portree. Yes you are outside of town centre, but it is within a 10 minute walk which we easily did a few times. The hotel was incredible. My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and the pictures do not do it justice ! It is by far one of the most romantic places I’ve stayed . Of course ,the weather was amazing when we went ;but it was so cozy and charming , especially waking up to the sunrise . The room was clean and efficient, all we really needed . Very sleek without being pretentious . Now let’s move on to the hospitality. Paula was incredible . The best service at a restaurant I have received in Scotland , and up there with many fine dining establishments. We were late coming in from our tour and were worried about missing dinner , but she was so gracious and accommodating, we felt so comfortable and at home . This level of service is so rare and with both my husband and I working in restaurants, it was not only greatly appreciated, but truly made our whole experience . If you want to be pampered in the highlands and feel truly looked after, I truly recommend this property . One of the high lights of our entire trip . Thank you to all the staff ! It was truly Devine

The sauna was amazing! And loved watching the sunrise.

Insgesamt hat es uns sehr gut im Bracken Hide gefallen. Dass man seine eigene kleine "Kapsel" hat, ist schon sehr angenehmt. Die Sonne scheint morgens durch die Glasfront in die Zimmer, sodass man einen schönen Ausblick hat, wenn man aufwacht und auf den See schaut. Die Lage war auch super und es gibt ausreichend Parkplätze vor Ort. Auf Wunsch wird einem das Gepäck auch mit einem Goldcart zu den Zimmern gefahren. Das Abendessen (nicht inklusive) sowie das Frühstück waren sehr lecker. Die Annehmlichkeiten wie z.B. die Sauna waren unkompliziert zu buchen und sehr schön.

Wow. Where to begin? The sleeping pods are amazing - small but perfect. The restaurant / bar area was exceptional - but the staff made the place. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. The food was amazing. We will be back!

A experiência foi ótima. A cabana é super limpa, arrumada e confortável. A equipe também foi super prestativa e muito educada. Único ponto negativo é que as cabanas ficam um pouco longe de onde é a casa central com a recepção e o restaurante. Tivemos sorte e não choveu enquanto estávamos lá, mas creio que deva ser meio chato em relação a isso, pois é uma área aberta até chegar às cabanas. Seria um único ponto a melhorar. A comida estava DIVINA.

Rooms were clean and loved the individual ‘huts’. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was fresh. The only complaint that I would have is that we arrived at the resort after 7pm and they would not accommodate us for dinner. There was a couple that checked in minutes before us who had no issue. After a long day of travelling, this was frustrating.

The main building is beautiful. Great views, plenty of space to hang out, eat, drink. Parking lot is a short walk to the main building, but you can pull up to the main building temporarily to unload/load luggage or drop off/pickup. We stayed in the Fairy Pools rooms, which were very close to the main building. Others are quite a ways up the hill, but would have stunning views. The paths to the rooms are loose rock, but they have staff with a golf cart who will deliver and pickup your luggage. The rooms are really cute aesthetically. They are quite small and the beds felt like an American full size, queen at best. The heated floors were a dream. The closet space was not really useable as it was just two hooks with one hanger. There is no fridge, but there is a coffee maker and kettle. TV offers different apps to log into. Wifi was slightly spotty. Locking and unlocking the doors was tricky, but you get used to it. The bathrooms were also very small, which is all expected considering the style of lodging. The shower head was a little odd (just a small, hand-held rectangle). Our room's water temperature only got to comfortably warm, but my sister's room had steamy, hot water. The outside flap for the bathroom fan was extremely noisy in the wind. Restaurant staff were very friendly. The food was terrific. Breakfast is included and absolutely wonderful. Overall, two thumbs up - highly recommend! Just know what you're getting into. :)

Everything is very well designed. The rooms are super comfortable and cosy. The lounge/lobby/bar are both beautiful and comfortable. And the food is just delicious!

Mooie ligging! Je krijgt het gevoel dat je ergens in de wildernis zit, maar tegelijkertijd heb je er alle luxe. De huisjes zijn stormveilig. Het was heel fijn om dat neergeschreven te zien, want je hoort wel wat wind en regen van stormweer. Heel gezellige sfeer in je huisje. Ontbijt was goed voorzien, opnieuw met prachtige uitzichten. Personeel was zeer behulpzaam in elke communcatie met hen.
