Freundliches Personal, zentrale Lage, sauberes Zimmer… Die Gemeinschaftstoiletten verdienen aber mehr Pflege und Sauberkeit.. für eine Nacht völlig ok

Really nice staff unfortunately the restaurant was closed but they have the best sandwiches in Venlo… the rooms well they are small and have no toilets…

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt, aber leider hat der Fernseher im Zimmer nicht funktioniert und sonst war alles top. Kann man weiter empfehlen😊

I loved the location! It was exactly what we needed for a short but lovely stay in Venlo. The bartender Nikki is the best! She and I had the most lovely chat. She is very welcoming!

Nicely remodeled orphanage in a building dating back to 1660. Very small room, basically twice the size of a queen sized bed. Far half is bed, nearby side has a corner shower and a sink. Plenty of stuff to do in town no need to use room for anything but rest. Restrooms are shared on the floor and accessible via key fob. There’s a nice lounge area with limited hours and service and an outside patio. This place is near everything in downtown Venlo and very walkable. Vehicle parking is a few block away. The center has traffic access limitations

Zimmer ohne Ablagemöglichkeit (geschweige denn Schrank für Klamotten / Möglichkeit Klamotten aufzuhängen). Zimmer ist so breit wie das Bett. „Stehfläche“ für Personen beträgt in etwa 1,5 Quadratmeter - logistische Herausforderungen… Gemeinschafts-Klo für massig Zimmer,das nicht sauber gemacht wurde - absolut abartig (soviel auch zum Thema „tägliche Reinigung“). Personal nur bedingt anwesend… Nein,für mich / uns nicht wieder. Ich habe nur nicht „schrecklich“ bewertet,da die Mitarbeiterin beim Check-In (die auch die Bar etc. alleine gemanagt hat) echt super freundlich war.

Bij het inchecken werd mij gevraagd de overnachting te betalen, terwijl dit online al was gebeurd. Uiteindelijk wel netjes opgelost. Dat het restaurant/de bar s'avonds om 21uur dicht ging en s'ochtends niet open was, doordat er weinig gasten waren, was begrijpelijk. Echter was er geen mogelijkheid om te ontbijten en de kamer was dusdanig klein (geen zitje), waardoor het fijn was geweest wanneer er ergens anders wel een zitje was geweest waar je even je eigen drankje/hapje/ontbijtje had kunnen nuttigen. Verder een prima locatie voor een nachtje Venlo.

Clean, cheap, great location. Most of the room is a bed but that worked for me. Shower and sink in room, but toilets are down the hall. No.pronlem getting to them easily.

Kein Zimmer, sondern Kammer. Ein Duschkabine in der Ecke. Keine Toilette. Wer gibt diesem Hotel solch positive Bewertung.

Welkom was wat rommelig en jammer dat er geen ontbijt werd geserveerd. Ook niet tegen meer prijs.

Voor deze kamer moet je geen "CLAUSTROFOBIE" hebben.., héél klein om met 2 personen en je bagage Zeker geen prijs naar verhouding...

I got a room without a window, which I didn't book. In addition, the thermostat didn't work and kept the temperature at a constant 26 degrees, it was like a sauna and when I asked someone to look at it I was told that the technician wouldn't be available until the next day at 7am. This was definitely my first and last stay at this hotel. You just can't accept that, terrible. Ich hab ein Zimmer bekommen ohne Fenster, was ich nicht gebucht habe. Zusätzlich hat der Thermostat nicht funktioniert und hat die Temperatur immer konstant auf 26 grad gehalten, es war wie eine Sauna und auf bitte das jemand es sich anguckt wurde mir gesagt das der Techniker erst am nächsten Tag um 7 Uhr erreichbar wäre. Das war definitiv erstes und letztes Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das kann man einfach nicht akzeptieren, schrecklich.

Es war toll wie in einer art jugendherberge zu übernachten.frühstück gibt es keins aber es sind viele cafes drum herum und können per fuss erreicht werden.das schlafen war sehr entspannend und man hört nicht viel von den glocken des kirchturms gegenüber

I loved the historical nature of this hotel. It was formerly an orphanage and it has been restored to reflect that. The rooms are small, basically the width of a king size bed, (which was gorgeously comfortable), though there was a shower and sink in the room as well. The toilets are down the hall. The rooms are dead quiet, as you are encased by thick walls. There are a few plaques around the hotel to tell of its former life. The hotel is situated right in the centrum, behind the old church, and spitting distance from Venlo's shopping, going out area. Loved it. 5 stars.

3von 5 Sternen gibt es allein aus dem Grund, dass auf der Matratze mehrere Flecken waren. Absolutes no go. Ein Matratzenschoner wäre hier vorbeugend wahrscheinlich schon ausreichend gewesen.
