I was unimpressed with the cleanliness of my room. The sofa was too dirty to even sit on. The shower was not working as both shower heads were damaged. There was a lot of hair in the bathroom - none of it mine. And I needed to wash crockery and cutlery before I could use it. Being on the ground floor meant people parked 3ft from my window, shining bright car lights into the living area, talking and revving loudly late at night. It was also incredibly noisy, which is not the fault of the owners, but something to think about. The family above me must have done their 10,000 steps for the day before 1am. They were up and down constantly. The two men I asked to stop talking very loudly outside my room by the lifts at 3.15am were quite aggressive and I could have done without it. I didn’t really feel all that safe. I’m generally quite easy going and travel to ilford a lot for work. I definitely wouldn’t consider staying here if you want peace and quiet and a clean space to call home for a few days.
