I just wanted to say what a lovely stay my wife and I had at your Newcastle hotel last night. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Amazing stay

Fantastic experience. Extremely clean and the hotel staff were wonderful. My mother with limited mobility issues was assisted 24/7 whenever she had to leave her room, and we would particularly like to thank Tom and Kevin for their service. They made our stay very special.

The room and bathroom was spotless as was the whole hotel. We also got a upgrade based upon it being my partner's birthday which was a really nice thought by the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and they had no problem adjusting it to people's tastes. The parking bays were brilliant as they are extra wide. The only problem was it wasnt clear how or when you pay. Basically you can pay at the hotel by having it added to your room bill. This wasn't made clear at the start. So we paid via the car park operator but this wasnt straight forward. You have to scan the QR code and pay for 1 day (we stayed 3 nights). And then at end of your stay u pay the remainder at a machine before u go. It seemed like staff didnt fully know the process and were given the wrong advice. Also the postcode on the Dakota website for St Anne's parking was wrong, so this caused a little stress getting to the right place. U ll need to google the car park itself for the right address. Other than that we had a great stay

Absolutely worth every penny. Easily the best hotel in Newcastle. Beautiful modern rooms, luxurious details, incredible food, and such friendly, attentive staff. We were greeted at the door and our bags were taken straight to our room. I’d 100% stay here again.

Service was top notch. Staff were helpful, genuine and very well trained. Megan, Front House Manager could not do enough and Abraham in the bar was a star, could not do enough to make our stay most enjoyable

Best hotel in Newcastle. The staff especially Mark, and concierge were amazing and provided everything we needed for our stay.

Staff extremely courteous and very helpful. Any issues are resolved immediately and efficiently. Would definitely visit again.

Overall, a fantastic hotel. Staff were very polite and courteous. Stayed in an Executive Suite and was certainly wowed by the room, very clean and modern! I have two very very small gripes - The room service portions (although delicious) were a little small! I went for the burger and could have quite happily ate another. Only other issue was the pillows, not the most comfortable and they certainly let the bed down (Which is a shame as very comfortable otherwise!) Excellent location (our view of the Quayside was fantastic) and would highly recommend again!

Great river view room, friendly staff & fantastic food!

All staff are polite, welcoming and helpful. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. I really enjoy the stay here.
