Lovely hotel with everything you need from views, to clean rooms, mini fridges, comfy beds. The staff are very polite. Good bar and seating areas. Perfect location too.

The staff were welcoming before we even entered the hotel - my disabled husband was helped up the steps to the entrance. Our room was very clean, especially noticed in the bathroom. We had a superior room with a sea view. The view was definitely worth the extra cost. Our king size bed was huge and very comfortable. We had breakfast and an evening meal in the hotel in a very pleasant dining room. The breakfast was excellent value. The evening menu is fairly limited and basic but the price reflected that and it wasn’t a problem for us, staying just one night. We would definitely visit again if the opportunity arises. Lovely stay. But breakfast a bit disapointing

First room was unusable due to extreme noise all night, and I only got moved the next day after reporting it. The first night was therefore effectively lost and no refund was given. Also concerning: the hotel took full credit card details, including the security code (CVV), and wrote them down on a piece of paper, which is unsafe practice. Overall, poor handling of a serious issue and questionable payment security procedures. Expedia offered only a small goodwill credit, which did not reflect the loss of the first night.

Going to start with the staff who were all exceptional and professional yet friendly and down to earth. Points to consider: the balcony which had been cleaned up, still had so much detritus outside on the balcony. Toilet seat broken,

Great location directly across the road from the beach and close to areas of interest (Seven Sisters, Lewes, Battle) We enjoyed our spacious clean room with high ceilings and doors opening to the balcony to let in the sea breeze / fresh air. Friendly staff. Pleasant stay!

Nice room with unexpected upgrade to sea view.

The room was ideal ***** for myself as a solo traveller. This top floor room was nicely decorated. clean, secure, facilities perfect and no noise from the stairs/common area, nor outside. Could not fault the room at all. Decor throughout the hotel generally was very pleasant. The lift was out of order however it didn't spoil my stay as although one of the agile older generation, was up and down the stairs in no time at all.

The pillows was very hard. And there was constant droning noise from the generator out the back. Had about 2 hrs sleep.

Clean room but the directions to the rooms fees like I was solving puzzles.

The hotel is in a good location for beach pier etc. Breakfast well cooked and plentiful,but could have a bit more choice on the hot menu.Main hotel areas are well decorated,and clean

The guy at the reception was most unfriendly and made the most unimpressive welcome ever! Even though we booked twin-bed, he made it look like it's a favour to give us one. Few minutes after, he handed over to a lady, and we went to inquire. The lady changed it promptly to twin-bed and transfered us. So the guy was unnecessarily uncooperative! The following morning, our pick up vehicle was running late, and we asked for a delayed check out of 30 mins to an hour, this same guy bluntly refused insisting we would have to be charged. He practically forced us out. Very bad customer service. He is not a credit to the organisation.

Great value single room for what I needed, with a sea view and good amenities. Staff friendly and without me even asking, noted no cleaning in the day as I was working night shifts. Was glad someone was on the ball!

Comfortable welcoming stay

The staff were friendly, the reception area, bar and restaurant were lovely. The room, although superior needed a few tweaks, i.e. a dressing table, bedside lamps, clean windows and maybe paint over the repair that has been done above the door instead of just being rubbed down. Also very noisy from the guests above.
