The staff was outstanding

Nice fresh room which had everything I needed. Good to see the shower taps are not under shower head so you can get water temperature right before using it. Really good choice for breakfast and it is served to you - It’s not a buffet! Good location in centre of town. Street parking and car parks easily available

The room was very clean. The breakfast was wonderful. They were very accommodating as a weight staff. There are so many fun things to do around the town. And it was just a few minutes to Crough Patrick for a lovely hike.

This was PERFECT stay for us as we traveled around the west of Ireland. Everything was great. Even though they don't have their own car park (aka parking lot), there's a municipal one across the street for only 2 Euro. I do want to note that our room did not have an air conditioner. There was a fan in the closet, so I'm pretty sure that's accurate. If you travel there in the summer, and it's hot, you want to be prepared for that - especially for Americans expecting every place to have AC. We will DEFINITELY be going back to Westport and staying at The Mariner again.

A perfect location in the heart of Westport with loads of pubs, shops, restaurants, very close. A beautiful place that's extremely clean with a warm, friendly staff. So happy I could land here on this trip!

The room was great! Much bigger than what we anticipated. A bit on the warm side but we opened the window and let it air for a bit to cool down. I think they sell themselves short on their "light bites". We had a lovely lunch in the hotel on the day of arrival. A very tasty celeriac soup and salmon sandwich. Everyone was catered for, kids and people with allergens alike. The same goes for breakfast, plenty to choose from and lovely staff. I'm sure we'll be back again.

Charming town and Sherman hotel

Nice updated Hotel. Rooms are a bit in the small side. Nice for a night stay.

Everything was just right. The accommodations matched the peaceful, easy feeling of being in Westport, County Mayo.

We booked in for a night while travelling home from West Cork. Stayed many times in Westport over the years, but first time here. Check in was welcoming and Room 204 which I paid an upgrade for was a good size. There was a funny smell in the room and I noticed an air freshener above the TV unit. The Bathroom was spacious and had a good walk-in shower. The toilet however had urine stains behind the seat and obviously had not been cleaned properly which was disgusting. Breakfast was extra but was very good.

We enjoyed our night in Westport. This hotel is a great location just a few minutes walk to shopping, pubs, and the center of town.
