Nice place located in a small town, staff were friendly and the food at the restaurant was very good. Had a few issues getting the toilet to flush properly (it was a bit older), but otherwise things went well. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect—within easy walking distance of many of Dublin's main attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Our room and bathroom were spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent with great water pressure. Overall, it was a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin.

The staff were lovely but the room wasn't fully finished, they'd replaced the blinds at some point but hadn't bothered to finish painting the walls where the previous fittings had been (quite a large area). The windows were quite a challenge to open/close and need a bit of a repair. The shower was by far the worst water pressure I've ever experienced in any accommodation - unless you wanted the water so hot that it would scald you (normally it's the hot that has poor water pressure but in this case it was the cold. This was also the case with the hand basin in the room.) Breakfast was not included, but was very nice and the member of staff was lovely, but we experienced a few issues - firstly the milk we were given for our tea was soured, but also there was no salt in any of the salt shakers. The restaurant also seemed to only be half set up in some areas. The location was excellent for Slane and the Boyne Heritage site though so that was a positive for us.

Stayed last night as a break on our journey to Dublin for early this morning to pick up our daughter. Staff were very helpful. Thank you. Room was clean & tidy. Perhaps, there is a need for a wee bit of paint, here & there, but actually, renovations were ongoing whilst we were there, so maybe that is in hand. Room was really good value - spacious with comfortable bed. Bathroom clean & well appointed; good size. Nice shower. I sense this is a rural business, trying to compete in a difficult market, who should be supported if at all possible. We didn't dine, but I dare say the food would have been good - got that distinct impression. Nice wee dining area in behind the main bar. Please support if you can.

This is a pub and if you want a pub experience that you shall get ! It was very comfortable and the dinner was very good and convenient after a long day . Very noisy downstairs but it was not minded since it was singing and enjoyed listening !

Really nice place to stay and the food was excellent

Great experience during check- in. Was permitted to check in early. Great cosy pub. Excellent Guinness. The actual room lacked any real ventilation as the one window only pushed outwards slightly and the air felt stagnant and hot. A fan would have helped or indeed a window that opened fully. Overall a great little spot and would definitely recommend.

Check in instructions were unclear, need to go to bar and get your key from bartender. If you arrive after the bar closed you will be out of luck

No lift to up stairs and stairs narrow so wise to think about what luggage need for stay Room, bar and restraunt just fine and ran a breakfast session (extra charge) but not for early starters Good host

The pub and restaurant were wonderful and the food was delicious. Our only issues came with the fact that I thought I was reserving rooms with 2 beds in each room and when we checked in each room only had 1 double bed.

For the cost of this property it was amazing clean and nice renovated and a nice pub. For us it was 40 mins from the airport. It save us a lot of time and money from driving into the high priced hotels at the airport. Super cute little town as well.

Great spot to spend the last night in Ireland before you have to go to the Dublin airport. Small village, but this hotel is connected to a bar and restaurant. We had a midmorning flight and left here at 630am and we got to airport in about 35 minutes. The food in the restaurant was excellent ask for a room in the back because the front is on the street and you can hear traffic until about 11 PM.
