Tout est ok, personnel au top et endroit très calme

The highlight of this hotel are the staff who was excellent, especially May and Debo. They helped me with bus tickets, recommendations on beaches and even how much to pay for a shirt. They also helped with laundry and were very responsive to any questions. The hotel was clean and comfortable, everything in my room worked well. The immediate area is a bit of a construction zone but there is everything you need nearby - a shop, a great brunch restaurant / patisserie (Melo's) and a pharmacy. The African monument is a 10 minute walk and visible from outside the hotel. Another 10 minute walk and you are near a good gym (Jobad), burger joint showing football (Esamai) and more shops as well as lots of buses and taxis (or just use Yango which is very reliable). There is a small beach nearby but is mostly blocked by a construction site but you can still sunbath and there is a small bar. Otherwise I recommend to walk or get a taxi to Ngor in the north or Point des Almadies beach.

Pas de personnel pour m'accueillir, le gardien de l'immeuble, qui n'était pas au courant de ma réservation, tentait de joindre par téléphone le propriétaire en vain. J'ai dû partir et changer de logement.

I expected a lot more based on the reviews, but I'm very disappointed. The building is still under construction. There was nonstop jackhammering from 10 am to 6 pm. The area is not good. It is walking distance to the African monument but no banks or supermarkets nearby, just one very overpriced restaurant. It takes almost an hour to go from this northern suburb to downtown Dakar, which is further south. Also the staff struggled with the basics. they asked if I wanted housekeeping and I said "not today, but I want it tomorrow." They asked me three times, and then the following day told me that my room wasn't cleaned because they didn't know if I wanted it....

What you see is mot what you get my husband and I checked out a week early. We had a terrible stay. Place under construction not complete

Great quality price ratio. It was conveniently next to an excellent brunch restaurant and very close to the lighthouse restaurant for dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The road leading up to the building is not paved due to ongoing construction and unclearly marked on google maps but this is a minor issue.

Lighthouse staff were extremely friendly and professional. Ms. Maryam and Mr. Bandi were always available to answer questions AND/OR solve any issues. I’d recommend this place anyone looking for an affordable accommodation and very quiet area.

The property is clean and very comfortable. But the honest truth is the Manager and his front desk staff is amazing. They help out and are available to answer questions with no problem. This is a great, if not the greatest hotel in dakar. I recommend it!!

The property was beautiful! Very clean and the management did a great job taking care of us. They responded to every request quickly. We enjoyed our stay and was sad to leave. The best part is the location. We could see the African Renaissance Statue from two of the bedroom windows. You can walk there and to the Lighthouse easily.
