The hotel is newly opened, the designs are excellent with a great vibe. I made the booking knowing new hotel may have glitches and expecting some "surprises". It turned out to be true as my room had an entire electricity blackout during the night with the air ventilation also stopped functioning. It was certainly not a good experience to say the least. The next morning I went to the front desk to report this, led by Jessica, the front desk staffs were very understanding and patience to help me sort things out. Ariel and Lachie were very professional and friendly going through the process and made the bad experience a lot less irritating. All other staffs I have had a chance to interact with were all very friendly, if you are thinking of booking please expect there might be minor glitches but the staffs there are going to do their bests to help you through that.

Had a great stay - both rooms very comfortable and the hotel’s location is excellent!

Everything was amazing. Room was beautiful. Interiors and view. Staff were casual but attentive and friendly. They spoilt us for our anniversary with balloons chocolate and a bottle of wine. Restaurant was yum. Unfortunately didn’t have time for the spa and pool but used the very equipped gym.

The studios are a very odd design; the tv comes up out of the sofa meaning the only option is to watch it in bed ( the bed is in the middle of the room) and the sofa faces the window. Would have been much more useful having the bed head against the wall and the tv on the adjacent wall with the tv on the adjacent wall. No tea or coffee facilities that we could find and unless you studied the control panel before dark, you could easily open the curtains rather than turn the bathroom light on in the middle of the night. Pretty room, but not functional.

Great hotel for both couples on a weekend break and families

The only downside was that our room smelt damp and the door didn't latch very well, so you had to double check it was shut.

Great view right up and down the beach. Perhaps the lighting in the hallways could be addressed, very dark.

Staff was excellent from front desk to bellhops to spa and restaurant staff. Jorgia was the BESt!! She was helpful, fun and efficient. Can’t say enough about how Jorgia made our say special. Area was laid back and beautiful. Pool, Haven restaurant and magnesium baths were extraordinary. Thanks to all

Finally a high-end hotel on the Gold Coast that doesn't feel like old money. Everything is modern, everything has been considered. The rooms are spacious and functional, and the view are incredible. The restaurants and food are top shelf. My only complaint is that there is no uniform or name tags to identify staff. Particularly when handing you bags and car keys to someone at the valet. If you happened to be wearing neutral tones, someone would be asking you for help. Everything else is the gold standard for hotels.

Great location and facilities, excellent staff.

It exceeded our expectations. I had a little trepidation due to reviews about service levels but I have to say we did not experience anything negative just the opposite. Staff were attentive, pleasant and prompt. The property and room was gorgeous. Restaurants were amazing and service by the pool was great. On arrival we had a wonderful surprise waiting for us in the room from the hotel of champagne and Balloons for my husbands milestone birthday. The location is great and just a short walk to the bars and restaurants in Burleigh.

We loved our 3 night stay at The Mondrian over the Easter period. The staff were very attentive in all the areas. The rooms were impeccably designed and comfortable. We loved our Suite and housekeeping did an excellent job. Both Haven and Lito Restaurant were fabulous. Arthur looked after us so well at Lito. We will definitely come back again soon!

Staff at restaurants need more training. Waited at the pool for the menus. After 20 mins we went off.
