Lots of construction poor signage on arrival. Restaurant was a disaster for our breakfast. One meal great the other was very poor.

The hotel was very nice and a good location. The room was a unique design and very clean. Dina was very helpful when we arrived and provided get suggestions for restaurants and places to see.

Our stay at the Moxy hotel downtown Montreal was a great! Staff were friendly and helpful, property was immaculately clean (including both the common areas and the room), and the pool, hot tub, sauna, and bar were all wonderful. Beds were comfy, shower was great (loved the 2 shower heads). Only gripe was that the parking was a bit expensive - after paying and parking we noticed a private surface lot adjacent to the property that was cheaper, which we’d consider for next time. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations for our first trip to Canada!

Located right in the heart of the city, walking distance to Notre dame basilica and old port.. Access to parking, lift, room, pool area, sauna etc. using same access card.. Rooms are ample with all necessary amenities..All clean.. I loved staying here..♥️

Location was amazing - walking distance to Old Port and St Catherine’s St. There is heavy construction surrounding the hotel so it made locating the hotel the first time a bit difficult - otherwise once you find it, it’s fine. Rooms were super large, hotel is beautiful. They should probably warn you in advance about construction and how to navigate entry.

Everything in the area is under construction so finding how to get in and out of the hotel by ride share or driving is confusing. The path to get in looks to be blocked off but there is a small path for pedestrians. Also good to note that there is no closet in the rooms. The hotel offers 3 hangers to put things up on hooks on the wall. Staff are very nice at the hotel but this is a hotel for a very quick (1 night) visit to the city. Wouldn’t recommend for more than that as it doesn’t offer the ease of comfort as other hotels in Montreal. Very DIY.

We arrived by car to Montreal. The area around the hotel is undergoing massive construction and there were no clear signs on how to access the hotel. Most decent hotels will email you in advance letting you know there's construction and how to navigate that. Not Moxy. Upon check-in, when I asked why they didn't simply send a message on how to access the hotel, they said "This is Montreal." No apology, no "sorry for the inconvenience." Nothing. I requested my room be cleaned but when we got back it hadn't been touched. I asked the front desk and they gave me a lecture on how if I left anything on the bed they wouldn't clean the room and if the towels were hanging, they also wouldn't. It's not my first time at a hotel, and we hadn't left anything on the bed and we had put our towels on the floor. No apology, no "sorry for the inconvenience." Nothing. When they made up the room, they didn't replenish the coffee and left fewer towels than before. The room was nice, but bare minimum amenities in the room. There wasn't even a place to hang clothes, no closet or wardrobe. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Great price for location. One of the best gyms I've seen in a hotel.
