This hotel has potential and very beautiful environment. The staff need training in customer service and hotel management. We had booked and paid for a superior room but when we arrived they told us that there was no warm water in the room and the other room the aircondition was not working. We were told that our room was upgraded but when we checked out the room was a standard room. A lot happened during our check in so we ended up having cold showers for two days. Breakfast was boring. Why is the coffee machine in the bar and can only be used by a bar attendant? A Rolex, fried ægs/ omelette and bread with butter will be better than what you serve in for breakfast. If it is expensive then charge more on the rooms and improve🙏 Your location is beautiful and the building is beautiful. This hotel can become a five star with the right staff and improvements

I am Muzungo and my bride Ugandan. We spent our honeymoon here while enjoying Jinja’s attractions. We found the place to be nice by Uganda standards and after sorting out a few things with the very helpful staff our stay was very nice. They have amazing water pressure and depending on the room you get, amazing showers. I found the staff to be very helpful and the restaurant kept me and my wife well fed with very good food. They even accommodated my wife’s taste for mostly local foods which their menu doesn’t really offer. It was quiet and taken care off and very peaceful. The location is actually very good for getting to the different adventure activity companies located by Victoria Lake and the Nile River. I would stay there again as my wife and I felt like we made friends with the staff.

Staff were attentive and very kind. Rooms were great. Food was good.

Personeel geweldig, hotel goed en schoon enkel sommige dingen kunnen/moeten gemaakt worden. Ontbijt zeer goed, lunch en diner kunnen beter ivm wat op het menukaart staat is niet aanwezig (toen wij er waren)

Great stay at the Mansion Hotel. Comfortable and spacious room with balcony. A great team - welcoming and super helpful, plus truly delicious food. A perfect base to explore Jinja.

Our first room was not good, the patio doors didn’t close properly so we asked for a move, our second room was great. Very new room, clean, however no view

A shame that nowhere was it mentioned that it would be a challenge to sleep on a Thursday night. The live band had the windows in my room rattling till midnight. On the plus side the staff are fantastic and the food to a good standard. Has it not been for the noise on Thursdays I would certainly have given it a 5.

Everyone was welcoming, we really felt at home while we were there. The room was great and they have an amazing breakfast, there is also a nice restaurant at the site. The swimming pool was amazing too. This is a really cool and relaxing place, so, I will recommend this place for anyone who needs to come and relax in Jinja.
