Cute and good value, but three of the lightbulbs in lamps weren’t working and there was no hairdryer in the room. I asked for one and it was delivered quickly and at first it seemed to be working, but after it ran for a couple of minutes, it started sparking. It was later in the evening and I couldn’t be bothered to ask for another one.

Lots of mosquitoes in the entire house, inside living room, washroom, bedroom, closets. I forgot my item but hotel claimed that it was not left in the hotel. Very bad experience.

I liked that there was a proper restaurant on site. Could use a breakfast service as well. I had an issue with the TV and the staff was quick to check it out. They couldn't fix it and moved me to a different room. They were quick and responsive. The rooms were clean and my bet was excellent. I did find both rooms a little musty, and that is with hard floors so I can't say where it came from. I would stay again.

This motel is located in blue River British Columbia. It is in fact owned by a very nice helicopter skiing company that has a resort just across the highway. The room was clean. The check-in was excellent so many expectations. What was really good was in the middle of this little town. The restaurant is in this hotel and the food was good.

Nice unit, everything included if you bring your own food/supplies. No local stores to shop. However, the restaurant was fantastic.

Our stay at the motel was great. A very short walk around and to the lake. The area was kept very clean, view of mountains beautiful. You have to stop in at the restaurant as the food and staff were great .

We could check in earlier so we had plenty of time for the River Safari. Nice Pearle at the desk!

As the place transitions, Signage would be beneficial as the “office” looks more like a realtor’s outlet. That to the side, a clean and comfortable place.

The room was fine equipped with microwave fridge and coffee tea. The place was very clean the bedding comfortable.. however, at this moment in time, I would not recommend staying anywhere in blue River. There was literally nowhere to get food other than a burger bar.. two restaurants were not open for the season yet, one had closed due to roofing issues. I could not recommend saddle Mountain Lodge to any visitor at this time because of the foregoing.

Room was spotless and although we arrived late, the staff were helpful!

It would help if the instructions to go to the east side of the highway to check in were more prominently displayed on the west side office. I tried both phone number given and neither worked.

Motel was quiet but the doors locks could be more protective.. as a single in remote area that was the only uneasy thing I could say… no front desk staff on duty and their other property across hiway closes at 8 so if there was an issue who is there to call? The rooms are older and maybe geared to men who snowmobiie in the area and the restauraunt attached was closed for season so convenience store was option.. maybe a late night pantry with frozen foods and snacks, necessities for late arrivals which are routine in Blue River would be worth a go! The rooms are tidy and clean, new flooring and super comfy beds in the suite I was in:). kitchenette well stocked but I could not find an iron. I would stay here again however I wonder if I was in one bedroom with kitchen and adjoining room was occupied how sound proof it would be. The front desk gal Emily I think her name was was super helpful when the 5 hiway into town was closed and we weren’t sure if it would open in this instance I was impressed with their flexibility and these things are also factors which bring customers back. If you have pets this is a perfect spot as no carpet and clean floors easy access to outside walking areas:)

It is a beautiful area and the motel was clean. It needs some upgrading - the shower was not very good at all, no water pressure. The bed was okay but definitely worn out. A beautiful spot and with upgrades it would be an excellent place to stay.

I really have had a wonderful stay at saddle Mountain Lodge… The staff are so kind and friendly and welcoming and it’s quiet and that’s what I really love is it it’s comfortable it’s quiet and it’s clean and there’s nothing more you want when you’re staying somewhere to have a quiet I slept like a log… The only thing I regret is I didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant but it was close so I guess it’s because maybe it was in September I’m not sure cause I when I arrived at 12:30 the restaurant was closed so I just didn’t get a chance to check the hours but that’s my only regret is I didn’t get a chance to eat… At the restaurant… I’m deathly gonna recommend saddle Mountain Lodge to everybody who is passing through blue River and I will see them again next year in September… 💝

Property older but good condition and very clean. Lack of AC was an issue getting a better sleep. Office location and name Heli Ski vs Saddle Motel was hard to find and with limited cell service in the area made it a challenge to get help, although the staff tried to help.
