Hotel histórico bem conservado, porém sem elevadores (ruim para idosos) e café da manhã fraco com poucas opções. Bar da sala de estar sempre fechado o que faz os hospedes descerem a escadaria e subir de volta quando quiserem ir ao bar

This hotel and its staff are the best I’ve ever experienced. Dash, at the bar was a gentleman and a great mixologist. Marianella, at the desk was amazing. What a great experience!

Hotel muy bien cuidado , limpio, excelente ubicación dentro del Casco Antiguo y muy buen desayuno incluido!! El único problema es que nos dieron la habitación en el tercer piso y el hotel no cuenta con ascensor , o sea había que ponerle para subir las gradas (73 y 75 años) y debería aclararse antes de su alquiler que no hay esa facilidad y así uno decide si alquila o No!! Las maletas las movilizaban gente fuerte y joven , por ahí no había problema . Por lo demás todo bien

Best location in old town.

Internet was good. Suite was spacious. Shower and clothing closet on a seperate floor from bedroom. Ceiling fan was quiet and finctioning. A/C also quiet and functioning. Deck fan operates on a chain that was to short. Hammock on the deck takes alot of space where some decent seating and a small table might be. Great view of the park and street activity. Location is not know to Uber. Early morning coffee is available. Paid for morning breakfast with room online ... used 1 of 2 breakfasts, no credit offered. Breakfast quality is reasonable and tasted good. Staff are probably best asset at this property. They try very hard to make guests welcome amd comfortable. I did not feel like was being worked for an expected tip at all.

You need to be fit to climb 3 flight of stairs. There is no lift.

Small, beautiful property. Beautifully maintained staff was very, very friendly and accommodating. Only drawbacks, would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room, although there is a Starbucks right next-door. Also, there is a rooftop, disco across the square that blasts the music well past midnight. Possibly not a problem if your room does not face the square but definitely made for a long loud night in our room.

The air conditioning was working. The room was clean. The breakfast was ok, but super small portions.

We had a lovely stay. Rooms are beautiful and very large. Staff are very friendly and helpful. No kettle in the rooms. No elevators which we loved but may not suit everyone.

Highly recommended! Hotel located on a quiet plaza. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and recommended several restaurants nearby. Room had a wonderful view of the plaza. Renovated historic building and our suite was very comfortable and clean.

This hotel was absolutely stunning. Apparently restored, it maintained its original charm and elegance. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more gracious and helpful.

What a property!!! If you're looking for flawless accommodations in the Casco Viejo area of Panama City, Hotel Plaza Herrera is it! The attention to detail in its design, the spacious rooms, luxury and spectacular hotel restaurant simply astounded me! Staff are absolutely lovely. The only problem some might have is the fact the property doesn't have an elevator but it's only three stories (staff deliver your luggage to your room) so only those with serious mobility issues might think twice. Location is near everything! I stayed here before a cruise from Colon and an Uber was only about $70 for the 1 hour and 10 minute ride to the terminal. Oh! And you have to check out the restaurant's bathroom floor and sinks: copper US pennies!! Even the door hinges are brass fixtures featuring the hotel logo--as I said, attention to detail! Amazing!

Muy buena ubicación en el casco antiguo. Me gusto mucho el estilo del hotel, clasico y muy cuidado todo el mobiliario. Atención de lujo; y el desayuno qué teniamos incluido en el hospedaje estaba muy rico, bien elaborado y con suficientes opciones para los diferentes gustos. Los alrededores muy seguros para andar caminando y muchas opciones de distraerse

Great location. Very nice personnel. Clean spacious room overseeing beautiful plaza Herrera. The only caveat is that access to the rooms is only with stairs. There is no elevator, we were told it’s because it’s an historic building. We could carry our luggages up to our room but people should be aware of this before booking.

The room was absolutely beautiful, we had a balcony overlooking the square which we very much enjoyed.
