We had a great stay at Villa Conrad by Hotel Metropole. The amenities were excellent, especially the infinity pool. The restaurant and pool both offer beautiful scenic ocean views, and the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming. The villa itself is tucked away in a quiet spot, while still being right in the middle of town and just off the main Corso. It’s the perfect balance of privacy, convenience and being close to everything Taormina has to offer. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful room in quiet courtyard with easy access to the main Street of shops and restaurants. The location is excellent, you can not get more central than this villa. There are stairs leading to the entrance, not pram friendly if bringing small children. You have access to the amenities of the sister hotel, 2 mins walk away. Hotel will message prior to your arrival directing you to check in at the main Metropole hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful!

I cannot say that I would recommend this hotel, and there is a large disparity in quality of accommodation and service between Hotel Metropole in Venezia and Taormina. I would recommend considering any other option first. Key takeaways: We had a king suite in July, so during peak season. The room was not ready for our check in and we had to wait for it. Room cleaning was clearly an issue for the property as the room was not refreshed until 5pm. The light switches in our room did not always work and the first night we had to power off all electricity to get the lights off. The skylights seemed to have a controller to close them that did not function and thus the room was flooded with daylight by 6am each day. When we went to check out we asked for a later checkout which they said was impossible due to a full hotel, there are several flights of stairs so when we went to check out we then had to wait 30 minutes for the porter to get our luggage. Breakfast, hospitality, and the pool service were all below expectations for the price and five star rating. Please consider other options before this one.

Villa Conrad was an excellent couples’ getaway. We were in the heart of the city while having a private, luxurious space, as well as quick access to Hotel Metropole and all of its amenities and staff. The staff was very helpful with anything we needed, as well as helping us book excursions and day trips around the city. I highly recommend!!

Gorgeous hotel, with all the luxury amenities. Location is right in the center of Taormina, about 50 meters from the Main Street, yet quiet and peaceful. Villa Conrad is owned by the ultra luxury Metropole hotel which is a 3 minute walk away. So guests of Villa Conrad enjoy all the services, pool, etc of the Metropole.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Conrad. Modern rooms and great design and easy walking to all the sites. A lovely breakfast every morning in the courtyard and you can use the pool and the gym at the sister hotel, Hotel Metropole, just a 10 mins walk away. We had a hire car and you can valet it at the Via Roma entrance…just call them 10 mins before you arrive. The staff were wonderful and went the extra mile with their customer service.

Nice stay, fantastic views. Room and bathroom dated but not an issue. Leaking air con upon arrival but was quickly fixed.
