This is my second time staying at this hotel. The location and transportation are very convenient, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. However, this stay came with an unpleasant experience. After midnight, a group of guests suddenly arrived and made a lot of noise in the hallway, which woke me up. It took about half an hour for things to quiet down, and I couldn’t fall back asleep until around 2 a.m. In addition, the air conditioner was extremely noisy once turned on—so loud that it was impossible to sleep without earplugs.

I was a little apprehensive about booking here but we were in Edmonton for a concert and just needed something cheap for the night. From the outside, we were concerned

Initially, everything seemed fine, but the bathroom towels were sticky, and some contained hair. No room cleaning was provided during our stay, and the towels were never replaced, unlike standard service in other hotels. In the morning, no staff members were available to assist us with breakfast or explain how to redeem our complimentary drink voucher. Consequently, we had to have breakfast elsewhere, and the gift card was never used.

The property and room were very clean but in my room the toilet was broken, the bilnd was broken and the remote needed new batteries. I recieved no new room or compensation for this experience.

Overall, an okay hotel, would recommend if someone is on a tight budget. The area that the hotel is situated in is not the safest, a bit shady. Rooms were okay, a bit dull and empty but works for just sleeping a night or two, the bathroom fittings were new in the room we were in and was good. The elevator made a loud thud noise whenever it reached a floor, which was very unsettling and scary every single time, they should definitely fix that. As for the hotel staffs, the people working in the lobby were okay, they never greet with a smile which is something that me and my husband noticed, it is unlike any other hotel we have stayed in.

Despite being a "smoke free" room, my room smelled like residual cigarettes. There were no tissues in my room. The lights and electricity didn't work on one wall, which was very inconvenient as I couldn't charge my phone near the bed or have the lamp on. The TV was so slow I couldn't even watch anything. Throughout the night, I heard loud noises from the fridge. The walls were super thin that I could hear a couple on the same floor doing "stuff" early morning. The location isn't great, I would recommend just getting a nicer hotel near downtown. The elevators are also super slow and unreliable (the buttoms sometimes didn't work and picked up people from a floor above me!) and my key card didn't work right away (but the staff was very helpful with this). As well, I got rudely questioned by the staff at the lounge next door when I was using their washroom to change before check in. The only positive is that the staff let me check in early.
