Nice and clean room

Great location. Rooms had everything you need, clean and some really nice touch's like umbrella and robe. Would stay again. Did try the Indian but how fab you can get room service from downstairs or go get an Indian.

Fantastic hotel. We had a great stay in the Empress hotel. You can see the owner has not cut corners with fittings and facilities. Bathroom was very clean and new looking. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. The only issue we had was, there were no toilet rolls in the bathroom. There's no staff on site so we called the remote support desk mine provided which was unmanned as well probably AI, so it took the request gave us the ticket number and then nothing. We purchased them for our needs from shops. Apart from this little issue, everything was so will kept that's I am still eating it top stars. If we are around Mexborough again, will definitely stay here again.

Couldn’t get to to work, no teaspoon to make drinks, curtains wouldn’t shut properly, very noisy wedding went on till past midnight stairs very steep and no mention on site of this, parking was very difficult as not many spaces, had to wait over half an hour to Get one

Great price. No staff on site but great communication in relation to location and entry information. Entry via key pad

Rooms were clean and modern and the bed was comfy. However, the off road parking was about 300m in a town car park. The water in the shower was just tepid with no hot water at all in the wash basin taps. After informing the management , i got hot water in the shower but only with the flow lowered to almost a trickle.. I also got tepid water from the sink taps, but it suddenly went cold again halfway through cleaning my teeth. There were also instructions for a coffee machine but no machine and i dont like instant coffee.. I will not be staying there again.

Room very clean, very comfortable, really well finished. Could do with extra pillow each, but thats personal preference. Location to venue we were going to was excellent. Accessibility not great to get to room as very steep marble stairs. But step free showers

Nice clean room, no staff on site, door codes only. Comfy bed, nice en-suite
