How to Purchase Extra Baggage

You can buy extra baggage either while booking your flight, or after your e-ticket is issued.

While booking your flight

1. Open Traveloka and search for flights.


2. After choosing a flight and filling in your contact details, scroll to the Flight Essentials section.


3. Under Baggage, check your included allowance. If you need more, tap Select.


4. Set the extra weight you need, then tap Save.


5. You’ll see the final price including baggage. Tap Continue to proceed with payment.

Didn’t see the baggage option?

Some flights may not offer it at this stage. You can still book the flight, then add baggage after your e-ticket is issued.

After e-ticket is issued

You can add baggage via Traveloka if you haven’t checked in and it’s still before the airline’s “Last Order” deadline (shown on your e-ticket).

1. Go to the Bookings page, tap your e-ticket, and tap Manage.


2. Find the Extra Baggage button, then tap it.


3. Set the extra weight you need, tap Continue, and complete payment.


4. Once the payment is confirmed, your updated baggage info will appear on your e-ticket.

Baggage option is unavailable?

If you haven’t checked in nor passed the deadline, our Customer Service will be happy to help upgrade your baggage allowance. If the deadline has passed, you can contact the airline directly or buy it upon check-in.

Notes

  • All baggage options and prices are set by the airline. Availability may vary.
  • Add baggage well before your departure date for peace of mind.
