Wir haben drei Nächte in der Ecolodge im Daintree Rainforest verbracht und hätten uns keinen schöneren Abschluss unserer dreiwöchigen Australienreise wünschen können. Die Atmosphäre dort ist wirklich einzigartig.
Besonders geliebt haben wir die freistehende Badewanne im Zimmer und die engmaschigen Moskitonetze, durch die man nachts die Fenster offen lassen kann. So schläft man mit den Geräuschen des Regenwaldes ein – einfach traumhaft.
Das Frühstück à la carte war unfassbar lecker und auch das Abendessen war hervorragend – tatsächlich eines der besten Essen unserer gesamten Australienreise. Man merkt, wie viel Liebe hier in die Küche gesteckt wird.
Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Besonders schön fanden wir, wie sehr sich alle für die Natur begeistern. Man wird sofort aufmerksam gemacht, wenn Tiere zu sehen sind, bekommt vieles erklärt und spürt, dass Nachhaltigkeit und Naturverbundenheit hier wirklich gelebt werden.
Auch Ausflüge können direkt über die Lodge organisiert werden, was alles sehr unkompliziert gemacht hat.
Für uns war dieser Aufenthalt etwas ganz Besonderes – absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Natur, Ruhe und außergewöhnliches Essen lieben.

A night in the rainforest was a magical experience!
This place is so relaxing and well thought out. The rooms are completely screened so we left all the doors and windows open for the night and immersed ourselves in the sounds of the forest.
Some lovely walks on the property too.
Staff were wonderfully attentive and helpful. We enjoyed dinner on the edge of the pond accompanied by a chorus of frogs. Breakfast in the same spot (included in the stay) was lovely too - fresh fruit, juices, tea/coffee and a main dish. Delicious.
Shame this was just one night!

Fantastic three nights here. The treehouse setting was magical the room was spotless, spacious and overlooked the serene lagoon. The staff were wonderful, helping us arrange excursions with ease, the spa and massages were absolutely lovely, and both times we dined the food was delicious with great cocktails and drinks. Overall a fab experience and would highly recommend!

It was everything it said it was & more. The staff all give above & beyond, esp helpful information on where to go/what to see in the area. King became 2 singles easily. Restaurant was fantastic & breakfast stunning. The animal sounds at night were so relaxing. Loved every moment.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. Professional, friendly and knowledgable. The food was exceptional. Fresh, tasty, innovative and in excellent portions. The Ecolodge was a great place to start our day and a cool, comfortable refuge at the end of the day's activities.The location despite being in the Daintree was very accessble to tours, restaurants and shopping- for us. A Truly Magical Stay at Daintree Ecolodge
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, offering helpful insights about the area and assisting us in arranging unforgettable tours. The sunset Daintree River tour was a highlight—immersed in nature and breathtaking scenery. A guided walk around the lodge with Emma was both informative and inspiring.
We absolutely loved our treehouse accommodation, which offered a perfect blend of comfort and immersion in the rainforest. Dining was another standout—outstanding food enjoyed to the soothing serenade of frogs by the pond. The chef’s special 6-course meal was a true culinary masterpiece.
Highly recommend staying here for anyone seeking a unique and enriching rainforest escape. An outstanding stay all around!

Loved the location, had 2 walking paths from property right into rainforest. Clean spacious quiet room, the screened in porch was my favourite part.
Did not really enjoy the restaurant- food was not that good for the price. Got the steak and it was very grisly. The hotel bar in Daintree village is the place to go eat- they had excellent food! The restaurant was also absolutely covered in spiders because it’s outside so would have liked to see some maintenance done regarding that issue. Just dust the webs off every day or 2 and that would be better. Didn’t feel very comfortable dining. That was the only bad part, everything else was excellent

You go to sleep listening to the peaceful sounds of the waterfall and animals.

Perfect stay at the Daintree Eco Lodge. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Really liked the ‘outside’ enclosed sala. All the villas are private and all you can hear are the sounds of birds and frogs. The staff are amazing. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and the service is impeccable. Food is delicious and they do great cocktails! We stayed for three nights and ate at the restaurant every evening. An absolute must is the ATV tour to the waterfall. You’ll get very wet so go in swimwear only. It was so much fun. 10/10 for us

We loved our stay in the Canopy Bayan - it was quiet and secluded - just the sounds of the rainforest. The bayan windows are entirely screened in, so you can leave the shutters open if you want to listen to the rainforest all night. The rest of the property is beautiful and we really enjoyed the food at the restaurant! I was thrilled they had a plant based menu! :)

A beautiful place with great food but the worst bed I’ve ever slept in. It was truly like torture. Every time my husband breathed it shook. It hurt my body. All I wanted was to sleep after a long day of driving and I basically paid $350 to cry.

Staff went above and beyond to ensure you felt welcome and settled upon arrival. The young Irishman was a fountain of knowledge about the facility, surrounding areas, nature in the area and naturally the food and drink. He epitomised high quality hospitality. The gentleman who took care of the rainforest gardens worked long hours and was always productively engaged. A very relaxed stay, even napped during the day, which is highly unusual.
