European Hotel

The air conditioning was not working and required them to fit it. It is a very old hotel. The pictures show online are different from what I see. The restaurant was not operated anymore. Just a small cafe there only.

The room is clean, cozy bed, location good and very nice staff.

The European was an excellent base for our stay in Perth. It’s in a very good, central location and we had a good, well equipped, comfortable room. We’d booked a balcony room which was a bonus for brightness and was good to sit out on and watch the street life even though the view was a car park. I note from the safety plan that it looks like some rooms look out into a light well, something to be aware of if concerned.

Stanza di piccole dimensioni ma comunque sufficienti. Buon livello di pulizia e mantenimento della stanza. L'unica pecca era il rumore molto fastidioso che proveniva dalle ventole delle unità esterne dei condizionatori, posizionati tutti in prossimità del rooftop.

フロントのスタッフの方はとてもフレンドリーでした。チェックアウト後、ラゲッジルーム（施錠あり）で荷物を預かってもらえました。 パースの駅からも徒歩圏内で周辺はカフェなども多く滞在しやすかったです。 ツインルームでしたがそこそこ広かったです。隣のお部屋の水回りと接していたこともありシャワーを使っている際に音が聞こえましたがわたしはそこまで気になりませんでした。

スタッフの応対は丁寧。歴史を感じさせる建物ですが、きれいに清掃されているので過ごしやすかったです。

Close to all amenities. Helpful staff who gave us good dining options nearby on arrival. Room was as advised in pictures and clean and comfortable. Good value for money.

Das Zimmer war von ohrenbetäubendem Baulärm umgeben. Der Teppich hatte Flecken und beim Kasten löste sich die Holzabdeckung. Ein hoch gelegenes Fenster zeigte auf Spinnweben und Leitungsrohre einer Hauswand, das andere Fenster auf eine Baustelle mit herumgehenden Bauarbeitern. Von hellen grossen Fenstern oder Balkon, wie abgebildet, war leider nichts zu sehen, dafür ohrenbetäubender Lärm von Fräsen und Baumaschinen zu hören. Bereits nach der ersten Nacht bat ich auszuchecken und ein Gespräch mit der Direktion, was von Seiten des Hotels nicht möglich war. Nach einer weiteren Nacht und erneuten Baumlärm checkte ich am 29.11.2025 am Morgen aus. Mir wurden 5 Nächte belasted, obschon ich nur zwei Nächte dort verbrachte. Obschon ich den Vorfall sowohl im Hotel auch bei Expedia gemeldet habe, ist die Rückersttattung der Hotelkosten für die drei nicht in Anspruch genommenen Nächte auf meine Kreditkarte immer noch ausstehend. Eine angemessene Entschädigung für die ersten beiden Nächte wurde ebenfalls als nicht notwendig erachtet.

Clean room but barely had a window in my room. Very high positioned small window, very dark room. The place is clean and well maintained but clearly could use a bit of an update or refresh.

Room was a bit worn, television didn’t work.

Lovely quaint hotel. Good central position. Very friendly staff.

Lovely decorated hotel. Clean and comfortable. Great location! And the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Close to Elizabeth Quay, shops, food and train station. I will definitely consider coming back here to stay again.
