My preferred accommodation in Canberra is one of the self contained apartments in the Forrest hotel and apartments complex. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and my last few visits I've been able to request a specific room if it's available. The apartments are spacious, clean and quiet and the complex itself is a very short <10 minute walk to the local Manuka cafe and shopping district where there are many options for dining out or grabbing a quick snack. There's also a Coles supermarket in Manuka if you prefer to self-cater and buy your own food. Will definitely stay here again. Full marks. Ian from Sydney.

Have used this motel style accommodation a number of times , although not 5* the property is clean and tidy and quite comfortable. The cutlery supplied has never affected me before but this time i brought my own bread for toast only to find no knives , this apparently was a normal event not one off but was inconvenient,

Having parking in inner area is a plus The room service lady was most helpful The room are clean and tidy if a bit run down The bathroom should have a warning “No chubby people” though. Clean but cramped. Overall for the position and the price it was fine Will stay again.

I have stayed here before and I like staying here because of the close proximity to all the best to see in the capital. The rooms are clean and have all you need. Plenty of FREE parking for guests which I think is an advantage. Staff are friendly and approachable. The rooms are standard but cosy and well priced. I would definitely stay again.

Property is a bit tired and could do with a bit of a freshen up, that aside, bed was comfy, bathroom a little on the cramped side but immaculately clean. There is an onsite restaurant (that only does takeaway) and guest laundry ($5 load) and easy walk to Manuka where there are loads of places to eat and a Coles to grab any nessecities

Comfortable basic motel in Forrest. Clean, comfortable bed, well located just 10 minutes walk to Manuka and restaurants. Supplied some crockery and cutlery which was useful.

We had a wonderful stay, everything was easy; access, parking, facilities. My mother has limited mobility and we found it easy to navigate to and from the apartment, as well as inside. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Canberra
