Not easy to check in, can't access lobby , need to ring to get let in. Room could do with a deep clean, carpet very stained , no dish wishing cloth. Good location with pub,cafeteria and shopping centre right at your door step

Room needs a refresh, as
Stains all over carpet a Lille smelly,
No outdoor furniture on balcony
No clothes airer
The bed was really comfy

Not Impressed at all!!
I booked a Riverview room and got a concrete vacant area view instead plus our allotted carpark was very tight between two columns. We could’ve been given a bigger carpark since no one seemed to be using them during our stay.
Even though the room looked new it wasn’t maintained very well, there was filthy grout in the shower, long black hairs left in the bathroom, not much toilet paper for two nights and poor quality paper provided.
The kitchen sink plug didn’t work. I asked at reception for a replacement and was rudely told that they were aware of the situation but no apology was given or solution to the problem so we had to improvise to be able to wash dishes. There were only two small mugs and three glasses to use so we couldn’t have family over for even a coffee!
The microwave was difficult to use and no oven trays provided. Very limited items in the kitchen so very disappointing for an apartment with a full kitchen.
The bed and pillows were very hard and too low which made it impossible to sleep there on a Saturday night as well as all the noise going on in the other rooms even after midnight.
Sunday night was quieter but there was some kind of loud machinery noise on and off during the night nearby which woke me up a few times.
The only good thing was the close proximity to Toowong Village shopping centre and to our family who we were visiting.
I do not recommend staying at High Street apartments. We won’t be staying there again.
