I was only there for one night, whilst transiting through perth. I arrived late, but the reception is 24hr, so check-in was straight forward. Check-out was equally a smooth process.

Great service and clean and modern room. Room service dinner was delicious. My favourite place to stay when in the city area. Reasonable rate as well.

While close to the highway, our room faced the city and was quiet. Had a balcony which was nice to get fresh air and have a view of the city at night. The only fault i can think of was the tap water temperature was variable and sometimes no cold water came out of the tap.

We checked-in late at 9pm on New Year Eve. The staff was nice and friendly, yet he can’t retrieve my room booking details which I have placed order and fully paid in mid November. He explained clearly that Hotels.com booked my room through other agencies so the data was failed to drop into the hotel system.
Lucky that we got into the last hotel room, yet nightmare came as this is the first time I met a big cockroach on the floor as I got into a hotel room. This is the most memorable hotel stay that I have in 2023.

I booked this place purely for the city view and free parking. The bed was clean and comfortable.
The room its self is outdated and smelt like damp carpet. The bathroom could use some maintenance and a deep clean.
Staff were super friendly and the restaurant has a decent breakfast.

After booking this accomo for the first time for a quick layover in Perth after coming from a late Adelaide flight and due to fly out for work the next morning, leaving the hotel at 4am - kept awake all night by the fire alarm going off and security over the speakers. Probably got 3 hours sleep at most. Won’t be back.

Hotel was ok. Booked 1 bedroom apartment - didn’t get city / river views. Room looks tidy but on a closer look is actually quite filthy. Skirting boards uneven or missing, loose cables and crockery filthy

Unfortunately, our recent stay at the Metro Hotel Perth was not a pleasant one. The room we were given was in noticeably poor condition: the couch had visible stains, the bathroom fixtures had grime around the faucets, and the shower tap was missing part of its handle. It gave the impression that the room had not been properly maintained.
On the second morning, we were shocked to find a giant cockroach in the shower. That was the final straw. Rather than see out the remainder of our stay, we chose to pay for an earlier flight home.
To be fair, the staff at reception were lovely—helpful and kind throughout. It’s possible we were just given an especially bad room, but the condition was enough to put us off returning. Unless absolutely desperate, I wouldn’t stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised how nice our room was as it was very reasonably priced.very comfy bed and nice bathroom facilities, even had a little balcony with city views in the distance which was unexpected. We only have one criticism in that the TV was not a smart tv so we couldn’t watch Netflix etc on it which was disappointing. Otherwise very good. A little noisy at times as the seemed to be a lot of school children in groups staying there.
