Peninsula Beachside Accommodation

The ONLY Only thing I didnt like was that a malevo person occupied from 2pm the adjoining flat. He was making a banging of noise for over an hour. It was unnerving. All else was good.

Property units still undet construction...need street light inside.

“Accidentally” made un authorised charges to my debit card……

The property queen beds are really really small for 2 normal size people, apart from that the property is newly build un good condition. We booked full 2 bedroom apartment.

From arrival to departure same towels and bedding for 6 night stay.

Very clean, lots of double and single units, with kitchen and washing machine. Quiet area, easy walk to children’s beach. Would stay again.

The location, the price and the safety of this property made it a good place to stay so we could enjoy the Peninsula. The bed was very comfy and it was nice to have a wardrobe to hang your clothes in. The basic apartment we were in needs a good paint job but it is on the list to be done so that’s excellent. The only thing missing is Wifi and a dvd player

Where i park my car was too narrow

Basic accomodation so didn’t expect too much. Overall, clean and tidy. The only thing that could be improved is having a mattress protector and topper on the bed. You could feel the springs which made for an uncomfortable sleep.

Nowhere to hang clothes. No underlay under sheet. No soap holder in Shower. Ants Front door rattles all night No second pillow

Poor maintenance on property. No oven, missing knobs . No mirror in bathroom or anywhere, grimey hand prints on glass doors you could see coming up to property made me dry retch. No handrail on steps or decking. Uncomfortable beds ,too much light in morning in bedrooms due to ill fitting curtains. Outside looks like a caravan camping dump. More greenery might give the place a lift otherwise not welcoming at all.

Staff were so helpful & accomodating. Nothing was an issue at all. Room was clean & tidy. New fresh bathrooms were fantastic & shower head was powerful & relaxing. Beach was just across the road & easy to get to. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bayside & would highly recommend. Gr8 value for money.

Amazing space In The 2 bedroom units

these units are good,property still has units being completed but in a great spot over the road from beach.close to shops as well.has a great laundromat down the road called wash casa..as an older person i didnt like the full glass wall in bed room that didnt have any inside support across glass for safety that aside it was okay place

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, single storey apartment. We originally booked a 2 bedroom, 2 storey apartment however I requested a 1 storey apartment so our son couldn't climb up the stairs. We were unaware and there were no photos on the website that indicated that the shower would be significantly smaller than the shower in the 2 storey apartments so we were pretty disappointed. Location: Fantastic location! Kitchen: There was only one teaspoon, one mug, no frypan or saucepans or cooking utensils. Staff were quick to provide these, however this should be regularly checked. There were also no kitchen knives,chopping boards and no oven, just a cooktop. Cleaning: No dustpan or brush provided which was annoying. Unit itself: Small unit that does the job for a few days however needs improvement. There was a missing number on our unit. One of the flywire doors was missing, no exhaust fan in the bathroom and no flywire on the windows. The shower was tiny and door wouldn't close properly. There are no blinds on the windows in the rooms - so we had to cover one of them up so our little one could sleep. Rooms are very small - there are no wardrobes but they do have some hooks on the wall which was at least something. There were also a few bugs and spiders in the unit. The towels were never replaced during our stay - a few sets of towels and tea towels would certainly fix this. Overall, sorely disappointed - the only drawcard was the location. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

I had a wonderful 2-night stay in a “Basic Double Room.” The accommodation was affordable and met all my needs, offering great value for the price. The room was well-equipped with a TV, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, dinnerware, and an ensuite stocked with toiletries. The convenient location near the beach and public transport, along with the inclusion of a split system for heating and cooling, were added bonuses. A few minor considerations: • A tea towel for drying dishes would have been helpful (though sponges and dishwashing liquid were provided). • The mattress may not be suitable for those who prefer a plush option. • No Wi-Fi was available. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would definitely stay here again!
