Windward Apartments

Highly recommend. Clise to everything.

Stayed in Unit 16 on 5th floor. Fairly good views of ocean. Very pleasant helpful staff. Reasonably Comfortable Queen bed. Building and unit is old and tired. Modern furniture added but rusty balcony furniture. Dining chairs felt a bit wobbly. Laminated Flooring is scratched in places. Kitchen, bathroom/laundry and toilet need renovation. Oven and oven trays were grubby. Fridge was not clean and had dirt and sticky marks. Sliding door to balcony does NOT close along with a window in dining room. Very dangerous if you have kids and no screens! Kitchen, Bathroom/toilet/laundry areas all quite old and grubby. Air conditioner unit on very small balcony with small glass table would not be big enough for family. We stayed as an older couple from Brisbane who are frequent travellers both in Australia and overseas. One bedroom unlocked for our use, other was locked. No ensuite no mirror in bedroom.Covered basement parking with lift access was ok. Never used pool or bbq area which is out the back of the building with no outlook and other units looking down on area which is complete concrete and not pleasant or inviting. Mooloolaba foreshore has major renovations in progress making beach access difficult. I do not recommend this unit and would not stay there again, believing it is very overpriced to other places we have previously stayed at in same area and only deserves less than 3 star rating. Disappointed with unit and complex.

Stunning view, spacious unit, close to the beach , functional kitchen with plenty of crockery and utensils Staff were very accommodating with special requests.

An ideal location to enjoy morning walks along the esplanade, beautiful views and close to shops and dining options. Nice to relax by the pool and read a good book. A lovely place to be based and be able to take a short drive to Eumundi Markets, Noosa, and the Australia Zoo. We would definitely stay here again.

Room is large it runs the length of the building. Waterfront view, washing, machine dryer and full kitchen. Dining and living area. 2 bathrooms. Master bed is huge. Close walk to restaurants and shops and Mooloolaba beach. The only downside is it’s noisy here. Cars and motorbikes like to race up the. Beachfront road late at night early morning. We were able to sleep ok but it was frustrating.

Great location There was a family playing the pool table outside our room late at night. I messaged the staff and this was quickly sorted out. Very helpful Even a room offering many games to take to the room to play. Beach umbrella's available

Overall a very pleasant stay, very spacious apartment but perhaps a little dated.

On entry was underwhelming as the photographs portrayed the apartment as stylish. The apartment has been set up to lease and no love appears to be presented with outdated bathrooms, tiles and bedrooms with no bedheads. Each apartment is privately owned, you are not guaranteed walking into an apartment that is glossed up by the Windward Apartments advertising. The outdoor balcony chairs were worn and rusted over. We had to chase up the extra fold out bed. The positive - beautiful sea views on level 6 apartment 17. Walking distance to the Esplanade of Mooloolaba. Coles supermarket walking distance. Car parking included. It was a good base to be for a week.

Our apartment was absolutely immaculate. It was exactly as shown in the online photographs. The staff were lovely & the position to eateries etc was fantastic. And that view from our balcony!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at Windward appartments. Our family had very small children. We stayed in a 3 bedroom ocean view. The views were absolutely stunning. The location is perfect. Only a very short walk to the restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the swimming pool which was heated and the bbq area. The small touches like kids toys for the pool and board games really made for a special stay. The appartment block is very quiet and we felt like the only ones there most of the time. (Even though it was booked out). I would love to send a special thank you to the host who were so helpful and did everything she could to make our stay with the kids very comfortable. The communication was just wonderful. We would love to stay again in the future.

The Windward appartments were in an excellent position, a short walk to all of Mooloolaba cafes, restaurants and shops. The unit had a wonderful view of the foreshore and Ocean across to Point Cartwright. The only criticism is that the wifi was very poor with the TV buffering whilst streaming
