The staff were all super helpful and friendly - genuinely! They were professional and looked like they were having a good time.

we stayed in a higher grade room, but they have all been renovated. this has been here since early 70's but you wouldn't know. the shower was good ( no annoying stand-in bath), the bed excellent, fridge in room. breakfast great. the area is nice. easy bus along sandybay rd. very enjoyable stay. amazing view. revolving restaurant nice for one of your nights. pool and spa perfect temps. stay out of the casino and it is good value.

No lift in this area of the casino was a big surprise as I have stayed in other parts and even in the same building but last time we had a room on the 5 level and didn’t need lift as it was on level with the entrance. Very dated but quite and a really great price so we got help from staff and family to help with our cases to go to level 4 which is really a basement area but nice outlook to a garden. The toilet made strange gluub gluub notices when we used it but it didn’t block. Shower is over a bath but it had a grab handle and water pressure was great. Room was clean tv worked well nice size for room good value for money but I will ask for a ground floor room next time. Easy to catch bus into Hobart.

There was a dirty bath towel on the bathroom floor and no milk in the fridge when we checked in. We had to take the dirty towel to the cleaner who was outside who apologised. Reception did give us milk when we asked. It was a long walk from our room to reception, buffet breakfast every morning and other amenities.

Room was clean, staff very friendly but did not have any outlook , it looked out over the carpark and motor bikes reving up under our window at 7 am.
