Reasonable price & nearby the center of city.

I was very happy my room with private toilet at 1st floor because of no lifts. It was very clean and tidy. It provided a silent night for my family. Location is near museum and very convenient for shopping.

Convenient location, comfortable room and friendly staff

The bathroom walls and bath had hairs in them. Also there was no fan so I was concerned when showering that I may set the alarm off.

The stay was overall okay. The room was clean and comfortable, but the only drawback was the noise — you could clearly hear neighbouring rooms using their toilets, which affected the quietness a bit.

Excellent stay option given the low price. Property was very clean, including the lobby, kitchen and bathrooms. Staff were very helpful. Property is near a main road, so some noise during the night but nothing too bad.

Great stay. Only issue was the bathrooms are combined with showers so they got messy with water and hair on the floor but this is a minor issue. Otherwise very nice.

Well located and good price-quality ratio. The staff is really friendly. The fact that you can have a whole bathroom for yourself feels luxurious. Just a couple of considerations: The bathrooms get flooded easily due to bad drainage but the staff was always on top of it all the time. Beware there is no elevator (though I’m certain is mentioned on their page) so if you have to carry your luggage you might have to do it through a couple set of stairs and fire doors. The amenities might be a little under the scale of people it can allocate, but at least during my stay, it was never an issue.

The doors closing were extremely loud and caused for inconvenience in falling asleep

An overnight stay, YHA Hobart was well located, short walk from the airport bus, across the road from a great bakery for quick breakfast and offered a good rate for a Friday night stay. Room was simple but squeaky clean with tea and coffee provided.

The hostel is in a wonderfull location. The staff is very polite and effective. Everything organized with clear rules and good facilities.

A every good pace to stay at.

I probably wouldn’t recommend staying here. Communication and check in process wasn’t great and was left until the last minute. I checked myself in late and via text they told me that I didn’t need to check in in person yet the next day they had deactivated my card. I arrived back 15 mins before reception closed thankfully but if I hadn’t I would’ve been locked out. The WiFi was poor and inconsistent. There are no sockets near the beds. My bed sheets smelled as if they hadn’t been washed snd to be honest it felt like someone had slept in them? The pillow was so flat and uncomfortable, even doubled over. It really needs be be replaced. It was quite clean but that’s the only pro. The atmosphere is a bit weird and the weird layout makes it cold and eiree.
