Hotel Mercure Blankenberge Station

We arrived at 2:30 PM, hoping to either check in early or at least drop off our luggage. At the front desk, a young lady was deeply engaged in an epic conversation with someone — so engrossed, in fact, that basic human customs like saying “hello” seemed to have been abolished. Two other staff members were in the breakfast area: one vacuuming with headphones on like a DJ at a cleaning rave, the other busy with chores. After 15 minutes of quality time staring at the unmanned reception desk, another guest arrived with a key issue, went hunting for staff, and — jackpot! — found someone in an office. This person immediately helped him first, while we were still perfecting our “patient guest” posture. When we pointed out we’d been waiting for 15 minutes, we got a curt “Check-in is at 3 PM”. Apparently, in this hotel, time travel to 3:00 is a requirement for customer service. We had booked a “Privilege” room at €253 — which, for that price, should at least come with a smile. Instead, we got the staff’s undivided attention… to their phones. The next morning, we discovered the shower soap dispenser was a proud, empty monument to forgotten housekeeping. For an Accor Group hotel, this was a four-star experience only if you count the stars you see after banging your head in frustration.

hotel is netjes en prima ontbijt. kamers netjes en goed onderhouden en schoonmaak prima. nadeel is parkeren, dit is erg duur voor een paar dagen en van te voren niet aangegeven dat het een openbare parkeergarage betreft. zouden een aantal plaatsen moeten reserveren voor het hotel.

zeer confortabele bedden, ruime kamer (familiekamer) aangenaam ingedeeld, op wandelafstand van winkels, openbaar vervoer, strand...

Es war ein zentrales Hotel

2ème séjour dans cet hôtel très central aux magnifiques grandes chambres. Personnel très agréable. Piscine extérieure chauffée. Walking distance de tout.

Everyone at the hotel was nice but it’s ruined by the obnoxious chap who runs the bar… they advertise it’s open till midnight. Came in about 10.30 and having a nice chat with another couple. Got served then the bloke disappeared, returned once to serve the other couple after a long wait then didn’t reappear till 1145 to announce that its midnight and that the bar is shut and ‘no you can’t have another coffee’. Bloke was dishevelled and looked like he’s been sleeping. Mercure is a good brand - I expect much better. I won’t be returning!

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen, so dass man alles gut zu Fuß ansehen kann. Lediglich das Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht deutscher Standart und das für 25,-- €

1ere chambre proposé. La porte fenetre ne fermé pas d'où on m'a proposé 1 autre chambre qui elle avait une odeur de drogue (pétard). Il faut rajouté 30€ de parking

It was close to the beach, but we were travelling during autumn. Parking lot is right next to hotel, very convenient. Price was just ok before seeing the broken parts in room.

Very close to train station so good connections. Quiet hotel with lovely staff. Carpets are grim around the hotel and desperately need changing.

Excellent location, neat room, friendly staff.

Séjour assez satisfaisant. On aurait bien aimé qu on nous propose le choix de parking payant ou gratuit. Nuit 24 euros c est assez cher pour quelqu’un qui choisit votre hôtel. Hôtesse d accueil fait juste son travail et c est tout. Besoin d un peu plus de propreté niveau partie communes. Fauteuils de chambres sale avec des taches.

Je wordt prettig ontvangen door het personeel, kamers zijn netjes en schoon, ontbijt is goed, ligging is goed, je loopt zo het centrum in

De strand was lekker dicht bij en de winkels . Alles was op loop afstand bereikbaar. Alleen minder was dat ze geen eigen parkeerplaats hebben.
