I had a great stay at Villa Dadap. Bel, the owner, picked me up from the airport and gave me tips and took me on tours of the city. The hotel itself was a little far from the city center, but the bus ride is only one dollar. Bel was also kind enough to pick me up at night when I was out taking pictures late. The deluxe room I booked fit my needs perfectly. It's not something you'd find in a five star hotel, but the room was spacious and clean and quiet. Overall, it's a fantastic affordable alternative to all the expensive hotels in Brunei.

I spend three nigths in the Villa Dadap and can warmly recommend it. The atmosphere in the Villa Dadap was very familiar because its silence, nice few guests and especially the owner Bel. You can book jungle tours and visit amazing sights like the biggest and most beautiful mosques and pallests in the world ... but astonishingly there are less tourists than in every other country I have been so far. The Locals are very friendly, smile and greet all the time (which seems to be quite contrary to the Malaysians to me). In general Brunei is very small but gave me very intensive impressions. If you want to see the main sights, three days are enough. But you can spend easily more time here because the country is very restful and harmonious.

개인 주택에서 숙박하는거. 집 찾기 상당히 어려움. 차 없는 사람은 갈수 없음. 굉장히 외진곳에 있음. 객실은 깨끗하나 방에 TV 없음. 1층은 욕실은 개별로 있었음. 주변은 거의 인적이 없는 숲. 공기는 좋음. 주인집 주방을 사용할 수 있다고 함. 조식은 준다고 되어 있는데 주인이 일어나지 않아 얻어먹지 못함. 조식 줄 생각을 안함. 조식 달라고 조르면 줄 지도 구차해서 그냥 나옴. 체크아웃도 주인이 일어나지 않아 30분 기다림. 주방에 세탁기 있길래 사용해도 되냐 물으니 사용해도 된다 해서 썻다가 체크아웃할때 7~8$인가 청구함. 황당. 브루나이 숙박시설이 전반적으로 저렴하진 않지만 왠만함 호텔로 가실걸 추천함.

ダウンタウンからバスで30分はかかる田舎にあります。車がある人以外は避けた方が無難。恐ろしい程急な坂道が宿の直前にあり、荷物を持って登るのは地獄です。スタッフは人柄も良く、キッチンも自由に使えるので自炊派には便利。ただ、近くのスーパーへも徒歩で30分かかります。交通費、移動時間等を考えるとダウンタウンの1ランク上の宿を選択した方が個人的に良いと思います。
